Musgrove got the no-decision in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks with five strikeouts across six innings.

Musgrove pitched extremely well outside of the fourth inning, when he allowed both runs and three of five total baserunners. While wins have been difficult to come by, Musgrove has gone eight straight starts allowing three runs or less and has lowered his ERA from 3.00 to 2.22 in that stretch to achieve a top-10 mark.

Marquez (6-6) allowed one earned run on two hits and no walks while striking out seven across eight innings to earn the win Wednesday against the Mariners.

Marquez delivered his longest outing of the season and needed only 98 pitches to get there. He generated 10 groundball outs to pair with his seven strikeouts, with the lone run he surrendered coming on a solo home run by Taylor Trammell. Though soured by an eight-run outing on June 12, Marquez has allowed only 12 earned runs across his last 45 innings, a span of seven starts. Overall, he's maintained a 3.99 ERA with an 89:39 K:BB across 90.1 frames on the campaign.

Woodruff (6-3) earned the win Wednesday versus Arizona. He allowed one run on three hits and two walks with nine strikeouts in seven innings.

After a brutal start last Thursday in Colorado, the right-hander returned to form. The only damage on Woodruff's line was a Christian Walker solo home run in the seventh inning. Woodruff also struck out nine or more batters for the fifth time in his last nine starts. The 28-year-old has a sparkling 1.89 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 111:21 K:BB across 95 innings. His next start is expected to be against the Cubs next week.

Gausman allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out nine across seven innings Wednesday against the Angels. He did not factor into the decision.

Gausman delivered another gem, with the only run against him coming on a solo home run by Luis Rengifo in the fifth inning. He otherwise dominated the Angels, racking up 19 swinging strikes on 100 total pitches. The only downside to the outing was that Gausman wasn't rewarded with a win, though that was through no fault of his own. Gausman has now allowed two earned runs or less in 14 of his 15 starts this season, which has translated to a 1.49 ERA with a 112 strikeouts across 96.2 innings.

Velasquez allowed four runs on three hits and two walks in 4.1 innings, striking out five and not factoring into the decision in Wednesday's 13-12 loss to the Nationals.

Short outings have become a recurring theme for Velasquez, who has lasted five innings just once in his last five starts and now has a 4.74 ERA this season. The righty isn't expected to be elite near the back of Philadelphia's rotation, but his role may be in jeopardy if he continues this run of poor pitching. Velasquez is expected to make his next start Tuesday against the Marlins.

Gonsolin (shoulder) is listed as the Dodgers' probable pitcher Friday against the Cubs, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

The right-hander was limited to 3.2 innings during Sunday's start after coming out of his previous outing with shoulder soreness, but it appears he won't miss a turn through the rotation, though he could still have some workload limitations. Gonsolin has allowed three runs on nine hits with an 11:8 K:BB over nine innings through his first three starts of 2021.

The Mets moved Lucchesi (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

The move is simply a procedural one, as it clears a spot on the 40-man roster with Lucchesi set to miss the remainder of the 2021 campaign due to Tommy John surgery. Lucchesi's season-ending injury came at an unfortunate time for the lefty, as he'd held opponents to one run or fewer in five consecutive outings after a few rough performances in April and May.

Megill had his contract selected by the Mets and is starting Wednesday's game versus Atlanta, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander was previously announced as the starter for Wednesday's series finale, and now he's officially joined the major-league roster ahead of his debut. Megill has a 3.35 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 59:12 K:BB over 40.1 innings between Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Syracuse this season.

Eickhoff is tentatively scheduled to make a second start for the Mets in Sunday's game against the Phillies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Eickhoff was awarded another turn through the rotation after he excelled during a spot start in the second game of Monday's doubleheader with Atlanta following his call-up from Triple-A Syracuse. He tossed four scoreless innings in his Mets debut, striking out three while scattering three hits and three walks. With Joey Lucchesi (elbow) set to undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery, Eickhoff looks like he could get the opportunity to stick around as the Mets' No. 5 starter until the team gets Carlos Carrasco (hamstring) back from the 60-day injured list.

The Mets have no immediate plans to place Stroman (hip) on the injured list, and the right-hander is optimistic he'll be able to make his next start, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

Manager Luis Rojas said the Mets will still evaluate Stroman day by day, even though the 30-year-old received good news earlier Wednesday, when the MRI on his sore left hip returned clean. At the very least, the Mets plan to give five days of rest between starts, as the team is tentatively planning to have Jerad Eickhoff take the hill Sunday against the Phillies, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Stroman is presumably hoping to take the hill June 28 in Washington, but if he can't gain clearance to start that game, a trip to the IL would grow more likely.
