Kim (1-2) was tagged with the loss Monday against the White Sox after allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while fanning five across 5.2 innings.

Kim fell just one out short of recording what would've been his first quality start of the season, and it's worth noting that the left-hander has yet to complete six innings in any of his outings this season. He has yet to give up more than three runs in seven appearances, though, and he will carry a 3.09 ERA into his next start, scheduled for Saturday against the Diamondbacks on the road.

Peterson (1-4) took the loss Monday, giving up three runs on five hits and three walks over six innings as the Mets fell 3-2 to the Rockies. He struck out three.

Solo shots by Ryan McMahon and Elias Diaz in the second inning hurt, but it was the run Colorado pushed across in the fourth that proved decisive. Peterson did deliver his fourth quality start of the season, and he'll take a 4.91 ERA and 49:17 K:BB through 44 innings into his next outing.

Rogers didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Phillies after allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out five across five innings.

Rogers gave up only three hits on the night, but he also issued three free passes, resulting in one run in the second inning and another in the third on a ground rule double. Monday's no-decision snapped a streak of three consecutive wins for the southpaw, who owns a 6-2 record on the season. Rogers has a sparkling 1.75 ERA and 1.06 WHIP with a 70:22 K:BB across 56.2 frames in 2021.

Gomber (3-4) picked up the win Monday, allowing two runs on four hits over eight innings in a 3-2 victory over the Mets. He struck out eight without walking a batter.

The southpaw did serve up two solo shots, but otherwise Gomber took care of an undermanned Mets lineup, tossing 70 of 103 pitches for strikes. He's delivered two straight quality starts and six on the season, and he'll carry a 4.56 ERA and 55:22 K:BB through 53.1 innings into his next outing.

Snell (1-1) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks over 3.2 innings Monday, striking out seven while taking the loss against Milwaukee.

Snell coughed up a two-run shot to Manny Pina in the second inning and was later taken deep by Avisail Garcia for a solo homer in the fourth. The 28-year-old lefty was removed after a two-out, two-run single by Kolten Wong in the fourth frame. His ERA bounced to 4.50 after allowing a season-high five runs. Snell is lined up to take the mound in Houston this weekend.

Eflin (2-4) took the loss after surrendering four runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out six across six innings Monday against the Marlins.

Eflin wasn't on top of his game in this one, but he kept his club in the contest before exiting with a two-run deficit. He's now been saddled with three consecutive losses, allowing 10 earned runs over his last 18 innings. The right-hander's next outing tentatively lines up for Sunday at Tampa Bay.

Woodruff (3-2) allowed three hits over seven shutout innings Monday, striking out eight and earning a win over San Diego.

Woodruff allowed just three singles in his terrific outing and only one Padre reached scoring position against him. Through his 10 starts this season, the 6-foot-4 righty has allowed two or fewer runs in all but one. He lowered his season ERA to an outstanding 1.41 alongside a 73:14 K:BB. Woodruff is projected to start in Washington this weekend.

Mikolas (forearm) will get a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews on Wednesday, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

Dr. Andrews' name is practically synonymous with Tommy John surgery, so this news isn't exactly what those with Mikolas on their fantasy teams wanted to hear. Merely getting a second opinion on a tight forearm is by no means a guarantee that such drastic measures are needed, however, and the Cardinals appeared confident immediately following the righty's MRI on Sunday, so it's possible such fears are overblown in this instance.

Lugo (elbow) is expected to return from the injured list next Monday or Tuesday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

Lugo hit the 60-day injured list at the start of the year after undergoing surgery to remove a loose body from his right elbow in mid-February. He's already made a pair of rehab appearances, throwing two scoreless innings, and he'll likely make two or three more this week before returning to the active roster.

Carrasco (hamstring) isn't expected to return from the injured list until late June or early July, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Carrasco had built up to six innings in sim-game action in early May, but plans for a rehab start were scrapped and no new ones have been made. The Mets insist that he hasn't suffered a setback, per Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record, but it's difficult to use any other word to describe the situation at this point. The veteran righty's expected return date should become clearer once he resumes pitching in simulated or rehab games.
