Cole Hamels SP | SD
Cubs' Cole Hamels: Dominates again in no-decision
Hamels didn't factor into the decision against the Nationals on Sunday, giving up just one earned run and one hit over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one in the Cubs' 4-3 victory.
The left-hander continues to thrive in his new surroundings, as he's now given up just two earned runs in 18 innings since making his Cubs debut Aug. 1. The change of scenery appears to be just what Hamels needed to get his season on track, and he looks poised to reward owners who stayed patient with him through his struggles with the Rangers earlier this season.

Joe Musgrove SP | SD
Pirates' Joe Musgrove: Falls to 4-7
Musgrove (4-7) got the loss against the Giants on Sunday, giving up four runs (three earned) on seven hits over six innings, striking out six and walking one in the Pirates' 4-3 defeat.
Musgrove ended up with a quality start in this contest but got saddled with the loss thanks to a brilliant effort from counterpart Dereck Rodriguez. He's still been on a nice run since he gave up five earned to the Brewers on July 15, as he hasn't given up more than three earned in any of his four starts since, although he has just a 1-3 record over that time to show for it. He'll head to the mound next against the Cubs at home on Saturday.

Joey Lucchesi RP | LAA
Padres' Joey Lucchesi: Solid for second straight start
Lucchesi (6-6) picked up the win against the Phillies on Sunday, yielding just two hits over six scoreless innings, striking out six and walking three in San Diego's eventual 9-3 victory.
Lucchesi was lit up by the Diamondbacks for five earned back on July 29, but he's righted the ship in his two starts since, allowing just two earned runs and posting an impressive 15:3 K:BB over his last 11.2 innings. He's now sporting a solid 3.45 ERA to go along with a 1.23 WHIP and 93 strikeouts in 88.2 innings. He'll take the mound next against the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Reds' Luis Castillo: Knocked around vs. D-Backs
Castillo (6-10) allowed five runs on five hits and one walk while fanning seven across 5.2 innings Sunday as he took the loss against Arizona.
Castillo surrendered a three-run homer in the first inning, followed by a two-run home run in the sixth prior to exiting with a 5-2 deficit. He's been bitten by the long ball over his two previous outings (both resulted in losses), giving up three homers across 11 frames. Castillo's next start appearance lines up for Saturday against San Francisco.

Michael Wacha SP | KC
Cardinals' Michael Wacha: Throws successful bullpen
Wacha (oblique) threw a bullpen session at Busch Stadium on Saturday, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
Wacha has been consistently engaging in his throwing program during the team's road trip, with Saturday's development the latest step in his recovery. The right-hander is likely to log at least one more bullpen session before a rehab assignment is contemplated.

Cole Hamels SP | SD
Cubs' Cole Hamels: Pitches well in no-decision
Hamels pitched seven innings of one-run ball but did not factor into the decision in Sunday's comeback win over the Nationals. He allowed just one hit and one walk, while striking out nine.
Hamels got locked into a pitcher's duel with Washington ace Max Scherzer and actually found himself in line for a 1-0 loss when he left the game. However, the Cubs rallied to win 4-3 on a walkoff grand slam, which kept Hamels from taking the tough-luck defeat. The veteran lefty has been spectacular through three starts with his new team, as he's allowed just two earned runs over 18 innings to go along with 20 strikeouts. Hamels will look to keep it rolling in his next outing, which is scheduled for Friday against the Pirates.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Dodgers' Rich Hill: Goes six innings in no-decision
Hill threw six innings Sunday, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits in a 4-3 loss to Colorado. He struck out four and allowed a homer in the no-decision.
After Charlie Blackmon's solo home run in the sixth inning, Hill and the Dodgers were down 3-0. Luckily, the offense came back to tie the game in the eighth inning, keeping Hill out of the loss column. The 38-year-old threw 60-of-85 pitches for strikes Sunday and lowered his ERA to 3.57. Hill will look for his sixth win of the season in Seattle on Saturday.

Adam Wainwright SP | STL
Cardinals' Adam Wainwright: To begin rehab stint Monday
Wainwright (elbow) will throw one inning at High-A Palm Beach on Monday, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
Wainwright tossed live batting practice in Florida on Friday without issue, so he'll advance to the next step in his recovery process. Given an extended period of time on the shelf, he'll likely require a lengthy minor-league assignment prior to returning to big-league action.

Trevor Williams RP | TEX
Pirates' Trevor Williams: Secures 10th win
Williams (10-8) allowed five hits and one walk while striking out two over seven scoreless innings in a win over the Giants on Saturday.
While Williams only managed eight swinging strikes on 104 pitches and 14 first-pitch strikes to 25 batters, the results were pristine. It was Williams' fourth scoreless outing in his last five starts -- he has a 0.62 ERA and 1.24 WHIP over that stretch (29 innings), but also just a 14:9 K:BB. He gets the Cubs at home next weekend.

Julio Urias SP | LAD
Dodgers' Julio Urias: Rehab moving to Double-A
Urias (shoulder) will make his next rehab start for Double-A Tulsa, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Urias completed his second rehab outing with High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday, touching 95 mph over 1.2 innings. The 22-year-old should join the Drillers shortly for his rehab appearances this week. In the meantime the Dodgers have filled their pressing bullpen needs by moving Ross Stripling and Kenta Maeda out of the starting rotation.
