Tyler Anderson SP | LAA
Rockies' Tyler Anderson: Hits 10-day DL
Anderson was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday with left knee inflammation.
It doesn't sound like Anderson's injury is anything overly serious, though the team has decided to exercise caution with the 27-year-old. Jeff Hoffman has been recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque to fill the void in the rotation.

Jon Gray SP | TEX
Rockies' Jon Gray: Throws side session Saturday
Gray (foot) completed a 41-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports. "Everything on the mound feels great," Gray said after the session. "I hadn't gripped a changeup in two weeks. And I threw two of them [Saturday] and they were the best I'd ever thrown."
Gray has been out since mid April with a stress fracture in his left foot that confined him to a walking boot for nearly six weeks. However, now that he's been cleared to get back on the mound, it may not take long before the right-hander rejoins the Rockies rotation. His side session went about as well as the Rockies could have hoped, as Gray used his full arsenal Saturday and felt he commanded his pitches well. Gray is expected to face hitters in the coming days before advancing to a rehab assignment.

Steven Matz RP | TB
Mets' Steven Matz: Will be activated for next weekend's series
Matz (elbow) is scheduled to come off the disabled list and rejoin the Mets rotation either June 10 or June 11 against the Braves, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Manager Terry Collins confirmed Saturday that Matz wouldn't require any further rehab starts with Triple-A Las Vegas after the lefty tossed 90 pitches and allowed five runs over 4.1 innings earlier that day. While injuries have dogged Matz throughout his career, he's been a fantasy asset when healthy, churning out a 3.16 ERA and 163 strikeouts over 168 MLB innings. Matz, who has been sidelined all season with elbow soreness, isn't expected to face any limits with his pitch count upon rejoining the Mets. With Matz and Seth Lugo (elbow) both set to come off the disabled list next weekend and take back rotation spots, Robert Gsellman and Tyler Pill will either move to the bullpen or head to the minors.

Seth Lugo SP | KC
Mets' Seth Lugo: On track to start next weekend
The Mets will activate Lugo (elbow) from the disabled list to start a game during the team's four-game series with the Braves next weekend, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Lugo was impressive in his fourth rehab start Saturday with Double-A Binghamton, striking out eight batters and allowing one run in seven innings and tossing 94 pitches. While Lugo was rehabbing, general manager Sandy Alderson suggested the right-hander would be used as a starter upon his return from the DL, and manager Terry Collins backed up that claim Saturday. Collins said that Lugo would take the hill either June 10 for one of the two games of the doubleheader or June 11 in the series finale. With Steven Matz (elbow) also set to join the rotation with Lugo next weekend, Robert Gsellman and Tyler Pill are expected to either move to the bullpen or report to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Brandon Finnegan SP | CHW
Reds' Brandon Finnegan: Scheduled for extended spring training Tuesday
Finnegan (shoulder) is scheduled to throw two innings in an extended spring training game Tuesday and will likely begin a rehab assignment after that, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Finnegan hasn't pitched in the majors since mid April due to his shoulder issue, but the light at the end of the tunnel appears to be approaching. The southpaw notched nine strikeouts over seven innings in his first start of the season, but the injured shoulder likely impacted his ability in his only other two showings, which lasted a combined three innings. Further information on his progress and a timetable for return could arise following his two frames Tuesday.

Tyler Glasnow SP | LAD
Pirates' Tyler Glasnow: Allows three home runs in loss
Glasnow (2-5) pitched five innings, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks with five strikeouts in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Mets.
The long ball bit Glasnow early and often against the Mets, has he served one up in three of the first four innings. Saturday was the fourth time in five starts that Glasnow has failed to pitch more than five innings. One of the more heralded pitching prospects heading into the season, Glasnow now carries a 6.95 ERA. Control has been one of the biggest culprits, as he has given out two or more free passes in 10 of his 11 starts and averages 5.19 BB/9. He will look to turn things around next Friday when he faces the Marlins.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Dodgers' Rich Hill: Lasts just four innings against Brewers
Hill allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits and four walks while striking out five batters over four innings in Saturday's win over Milwaukee. He didn't factor into the decision.
Hill has been limited to just six starts and 26 innings this season, and he's only been mediocre when toeing the rubber. The veteran sports a 2-2 record with a 4.15 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 9.0 K/9, but he's showcased the upside to be an elite hurler when healthy over the past two seasons. Hill projects to face Cincinnati at home in his next start.

Tyler Anderson SP | LAA
Rockies' Tyler Anderson: To hit DL with knee inflammation
Anderson will be placed on the 10-day DL with left knee inflammation, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Anderson missed a start earlier this season with the same injury and has been pitching in a knee brace, but said he felt good after going through normal pitching drills Saturday. Nonetheless, manager Bud Black wants to exercise caution with putting the young arm back on the rubber. "We're going to play it safe," the manager said. "He feels okay, but we're being precautionary." Shaking up the rotation may not be the worst idea after Anderson's dreadful last outing in which he allowed six earned runs on 11 hits against the Mariners, though he should be back in the rotation upon his return from the DL. Jeff Hoffman will assume his spot in the rotation for the time being.

Ben Lively SP | CLE
Phillies' Ben Lively: Fires seven strong innings Saturday
Lively allowed one run on four hits and three walks over seven innings to earn the win Saturday against the Giants.
Lively out-dueled Johnny Cueto in his big-league debut, but the fact he failed to strike out a batter while walking three suggests that he could struggle in future starts. With Vince Velasquez (elbow) and Clay Buchholz (forearm) both on the disabled list, he'll get at least another start in the rotation, but unless he can continue to impress the coaching staff, his stay in the rotation is tenuous at best. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Braves.

Johnny Cueto SP | LAA
Giants' Johnny Cueto: Suffers fifth loss Saturday
Cueto (5-5) allowed three runs on eight hits while striking out nine across six innings to take the loss Saturday against the Phillies.
Cueto tossed five shutout innings before faltering in the sixth and seventh innings and was only given a single run of support. He's failed to make it through the seventh inning in any of his last four starts, and during that time, he's allowed 13 runs in 24 innings to raise his ERA from 4.15 to 4.38. Aside from his great strikeout rate, he's been a shaky fantasy option this year. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Brewers.
