Rodon will look to ride the momentum into his next matchup, which is lined up to be on the road against the Athletics this weekend.

Alcantara (2-4) yielded five runs on six hits and a walk over five innings Monday, striking out four and taking a loss against the Dodgers.

Alcantara gave up a pair of two-run homers to Freddie Freeman and Shohei Ohtani in the third and fifth innings, respectively. Alcantara has made two straight starts against the Dodgers and was tagged with a combined 12 runs over 7.2 innings. He's now on a four-start losing streak and saw his ERA shoot up to 8.42 through 31 frames. Alcantara will look to end the skid in his next outing, which is lined up to be a road matchup with the White Sox this weekend.

Ragans (2-1) picked up the win Monday against the White Sox, allowing three hits and two walks over five scoreless innings. He struck out 11.

The Kansas City southpaw showed no ill effects of his recent groin injury, stymying the lowly Chicago lineup in this 94-pitch outing. Ragans generated an impressive 17 whiffs to match his season high in strikeouts with 11. After allowing an unsightly nine runs over seven innings across his two previous starts, Ragans lowered his ERA from 4.40 to 3.79 with this performance. The left-hander is currently slated to make his next start against the Red Sox at home this weekend.

Imanaga has been diagnosed with a mild left hamstring strain that is expected to hold him out for more than two weeks, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

This update likely means that Imanaga will miss more than the minimum while on the injured list. Manager Craig Counsell stated that the two-week timeline was set as a precaution, so it doesn't appear that the club is in any hurry to rush the southpaw back into action. A clearer timeline for Imanaga's return should come into focus as he begins to make progress in his rehab.

Smith (1-2) took the loss Monday against the Royals, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out five.

The Chicago right-hander looked solid again in this 91-pitch outing, as he has not conceded more than three runs in any of his six starts. The Kansas City lineup failed to square up Smith, who allowed just one extra-base hit -- a Bobby Witt RBI double in the fifth. Smith continues his sharp rookie campaign, pitching to a 2.41 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 31:15 K:BB across 37.1 innings. The 25-year-old is currently in line to make his next start against the Marlins at home this weekend.

Smith-Shawver (2-2) earned the win Monday against the Reds, allowing one hit and four walks over eight scoreless innings. He struck out five.

After departing his April 29 outing due to taking a comebacker off his right elbow, Smith-Shawver showed no ill effects in this 99-pitch performance. The 22-year-old carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning until Santiago Espinal opened the frame with a single. Smith-Shawver now sports a 3.00 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 27:13 K:BB across 27 innings. Singer (4-2) took the loss Monday at Atlanta, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out two.

The Cincinnati right-hander generated just three whiffs in this 102-pitch outing, as he notched a season-low two Ks. Singer coughed up all four runs in the third inning, capped by a Matt Olson inside-the-park home run. Through 39.1 innings, Singer has pitched to a 3.66 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 38:14 K:BB. The 28-year-old is currently scheduled to make his next start at Houston this weekend.

Ortiz will not start Monday after the Guardians' matchup with the Nationals was postponed due to inclement weather, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Ortiz was slated to draw the start in Monday's series opener against Washington, but he's now scheduled to take the mound for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader, per Tim Stebbins of MLB.com.
