Lindor went 3-for-5 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the White Sox.

The three-hit night broke up a 1-for-12 slump for Lindor, who is also an outstanding 9-for-10 on his stolen-base attempts for the season. Manager Terry Francona is expected to rest Lindor for Wednesday's series finale, which will likely open up a start for either Jose Ramirez or Michael Martinez at shortstop.

Lindor is not in the lineup Wednesday against the White Sox.

As expected, Lindor will get a scheduled day off Wednesday, his first of the season. The shortstop is hitting .340 in the month of May and notched three hits, an RBI and a steal in Tuesday's win over Chicago.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, and two runs scored in Tuesday night's win over Colorado.

While Jackie Bradley attracts much attention thanks to his 28-game hitting streak, Bogaerts' 17-game hitting streak has flown under the radar. The shortstop has gone 31-for-76 (.408) during his streak and has vaulted to the top of MLB with a .349 batting average.

Lindor isn't expected to play Wednesday.

Lindor's been red hot in May but will get a routine day off Wednesday.

Sardinas will likely be recalled from Triple-A Tacoma, possibly as soon as Wednesday, the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Chris Taylor committed two errors Monday, resulting in four unearned runs against Seattle, and Sardinas was absent from Tacoma's lineup Tuesday. Sardinas has now reached 10 days in the minors, going 13-for-32 in his eight games with the Rainiers, and is allowed return to Seattle without the team needing to place another player on the DL. Ketel Marte (thumb) is not expected to be ready to return when first eligible.

O'Malley got the start at shortstop Sunday and went 2-for-4 with a double in a win over the Reds.

It's his second appearance at shortstop since being called up from Triple-A, but with Chris Taylor now joining the roster to replace the injured Ketel Marte (thumb), O'Malley may not get a chance to reach the five-game threshold that would qualify him at the position in many fantasy formats. Without that extra position flexibility, his value remains fairly low.

Pennington (hamstring) is expected to be activated by Saturday, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.

Pennington was placed on the 15-day disabled list in mid-May with a hamstring injury. Saturday is the first day he's eligible to be activated. Until then, look for Gregorio Petit to receive most of the starts at shortstop.

Lindor went 2-for-3 with two walks and a run scored in Friday's 4-2 victory over the Red Sox.

The Indians shortstop is enjoying a month for the ages, with Friday's effort bringing his May line to .382/.434/.513. He's done it all at the plate except for tripling, as he's managed four doubles, two homers, 10 RBI, six walks and four stolen bases. His plate discipline has been outstanding as well, with only nine strikeouts in 76 at-bats during the month. His outstanding multi-category production has made Lindor a fantasy superstar.

The Angels acquired Jackson from the Phillies on Friday, Bill Shaikin of the LA Times reports.

The Angels were in need of shortstop depth in the minors with Gregorio Petit seeing regular action with the big club and two other shortstops -- Andrelton Simmons and Cliff Pennington -- on the disabled list, so they decided to pick up Jackson in exchange for cash. Jackson has 42 MLB games under his belt, but he will report to Triple-A Salt Lake and will likely need another injury to occur to see action with the Angels at any point soon.

Lindor recorded his third consecutive three-hit game Wednesday, going 3-for-6 with his third homer of the year and an RBI groundout in a win over the Reds.

The Cincy fans can't be looking forward to another day of facing Lindor and the Indians, as he's rocked Reds pitching for nine hits (four for extra bases) in 17 at-bats as part of a major offensive onslaught over the first three games of this four-game home-and-home set. As expected, he's seen his power regress this year, but the hit tool and the speed certainly appear to be for real, and the defense is pretty darn sharp too.
