Bichette (knee) is progressing well and could begin baseball activities this weekend, Scott Mitchell of TSN.ca reports.

If he is hopeful to begin baseball activities this weekend, that likely rules out an August return, and it seems more likely we see him in early-to-mid September if all goes well. Santiago Espinal will continue to fill in for Bichette at shortstop for the time being.

Fletcher went 3-for-5 with an RBI single and a run scored in Monday's 11-4 loss to the Astros.

Fletcher plated Andrelton Simmons with an infield single in the third inning. In the fifth, Fletcher got aboard with another single and scored on Anthony Rendon's single. In his last six games, Fletcher has recorded four multi-hit efforts. He's produced 10 multi-hit games in 30 contests this year. He's slashing .317/.380/.460 with three homers, two stolen bases, 11 RBI and 20 runs scored.

Correa went 1-for-5 with a three-RBI double and a run scored in Monday's 11-4 win over the Angels.

Correa hit the bases-loaded double in the sixth inning to give the Astros a more comfortable lead. He then came around to score on a Kyle Tucker double to make it a 9-4 lead at the time. The 25-year-old Correa is slashing .295/.373/.438 with three homers, 19 RBI, 12 runs scored and six doubles in 29 contests.

Adames went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

Adames slugged a two-run homer to right field in the fourth inning, giving his club a 3-1 lead. In his third season of big-league action, the 24-year-old shortstop is slashing .295/.386/.534 with three home runs, 10 RBI and a stolen base through 28 games.

Wendle will start at second base and will bat sixth Monday against the Blue Jays, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Wendle has seemingly supplanted Hunter Renfroe as a mainstay in the Tampa Bay lineup against right-handed pitching. Brandon Lowe will shift to the right field while Renfroe sits for the second straight day, paving the way for Wendle to pick up another start at the keystone. Over his 58 plate appearances versus righties this season, Wendle is slashing .264/.328/.434 (111 wRC+).

Correa went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 5-3 loss to San Diego.

Correa's first-inning single plated one of the three Houston runs scored in that frame. He's been the Astros' steadiest hitter in 2020 and has moved up to third in the batting order the last four games, replacing the injured Alex Bregman (hamstring). The shortstop, who has dealt with injuries the last three seasons, has appeared in all 28 games thus far and leads the team with a .300 average.

Lindor went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored Saturday in the Indians' 6-1 win over the Tigers.

After a slow start at the dish to begin the season, Lindor is rounding into peak form offensively. Over his last 10 games, Lindor is slashing .302/.362/.442 with a home run, three doubles, seven runs and four RBI. He'll start at shortstop and will bat third in Sunday's series finale.

Wendle will start at third base and bat sixth Saturday against the Blue Jays.

The 30-year-old was originally stationed on the bench for Saturday's contest, but he'll join the starting nine with Yandy Diaz (head) a late scratch. Wendle has a .295/.368/.459 slash line through 68 plate appearances and could see more consistent at-bats if Diaz is forced to miss time.

Gordon isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Rangers.

Even with right-hander Jordan Lyles on the mound for Texas on Saturday, Gordon will take a seat. Sam Haggerty will take over in left field, batting second.

Fletcher went 3-for-5 with a double and a run in a 5-3 loss to the Athletics on Friday.

Fletcher scored the Angels' first run of the game in the fifth inning, beginning the frame with a double and coming around to score on a single by Anthony Rendon. The multi-hit effort was the eighth of the season for Fletcher, who is slashing .313/.373/.464 with three homers and nine RBI. He is tied for the team lead with 17 runs scored.
