Herrera is hitting just .203/.280/.243 on the season. Jon Berti starts in center field again in his absence.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Begins rehab assignment
Turner (finger) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Potomac on Tuesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports
Turner has been out six weeks with a broken index finger. The length of his rehab assignment isn't currently known, but he appears to be closing in on a return to Washington.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Reaches three times in win
Baez went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and a walk Sunday in the Cubs' 4-1 win over the Brewers.
Baez's fifth-inning extra-base knock drove home Kris Bryant and broke a 1-1 stalemate. After reaching base three times in the series finale, Baez's OPS now sits at a robust .987 for the season, more than 100 points better than his mark from his runner-up MVP season in 2018. It bears mentioning, however, that Baez has benefited from a .402 BABIP (career .342 mark), suggesting his .323/.360/.627 slash line should be viewed with a fair dose of skepticism.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Slaps two hits Sunday
Ahmed went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Braves.
Six of Ahmed's last eight hits have gone for extra bases. Sunday's double was his 13th, ranking him seventh in MLB. He's sacrificed the flyball approach that enabled him to hit 16 home runs in 2018 but has maintained a higher batting average (.255), slugging percentage (.416) and OPS (.717) with an approach focused on line drives and groundballs.

Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Drives in two
Camargo went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Diamondbacks.
Camargo knocked in a pair of runs in the third inning on a single to left, extending Atlanta's lead to three. The 25-year-old has struggled to hit for average so far this season over 32 games (.241), but he's hit safely in three straight ballgames.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Socks grand slam
Seager went 1-for-3 against Washington on Sunday, driving in five runs with a grand slam and a sacrifice fly.
Seager's run-scoring flyball put the Dodgers on the board in the second inning, and he blew the game open with a bases-loaded blast to deep right field in the eighth. Seager has struggled out of the gate in his first season back from Tommy John surgery, so perhaps his big game Sunday is a step toward turning things around.

Paul DeJong SS | DET
Cardinals' Paul DeJong: Plates only run
DeJong went 1-for-3 with an RBI double and a walk in a loss to the Pirates on Saturday.
DeJong brought home the Cardinals' only run of the game with a third-inning two-bagger that opened the scoring for both clubs. The hot-hitting shortstop has now reached safely in eight straight games and is already more than halfway to his April RBI total (10) in the current month.

Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Socks pinch-hit homer
Camargo pinch hit for Josh Tomlin in the top of the ninth inning and hit a solo home run in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks.
It's only the utility player's second homer of the year, to go along with a tepid .229/.289/.373 slash line. Camargo isn't seeing much action these days -- he's started only two of the last nine games -- and his path to playing time could get even rockier if Atlanta decides to call up Austin Riley at some point to man an outfield corner.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Returns to lineup
Seager is back in the lineup Saturday against the Nationals after missing Friday's game due to a personal matter, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Seager was a late scratch Friday and was in the Dodgers' dugout by the middle of the game, so it's no surprise that his absence lasted just one day. He'll bat fifth and play shortstop Saturday.

Rosell Herrera SS | KC
Marlins' Rosell Herrera: Not starting Saturday
Herrera is not in the lineup Saturday against the Mets, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Herrera sits after making three straight starts. He went 3-for-8 with a pair of walks over that short stretch. Jon Berti gets the start in center field in his absence.
