Edman went 1-for-5 with a two-run triple in a win over the Pirates on Saturday.

As expected heading into the season, the 25-year-old Edman appears to have an everyday role at third base with the implementation of the universal designated hitter affording Matt Carpenter the opportunity to slide into that role. Edman has only two hits in his first 10 at-bats, but Saturday's three-bagger in the eighth inning brought home Harrison Bader and Kolten Wong to close out the scoring. Edman legged out an impressive seven triples in his first big-league season in 2019, and his above-average speed could well lead to a healthy amount of three-baggers again this year.

Turner went 0-for-5 with a strikeout and committed two errors in Saturday's win over the Yankees.

The Nats' leadoff hitter has stumbled out of the gate, as he went 0-for-2 in Thursday's opener as well. It's not surprising that some players are a little further behind the curve than others given the nature of this season, but Turner should find a groove eventually. Whether that's quickly enough to satisfy those with fantasy shares in him during an abbreviated 60-game schedule is another question.

Fletcher went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a walk during Saturday's 4-1 win over the Athletics.

Fletcher made the most of the only hit he notched Saturday, delivering a two-run double that scored Max Stassi and Andrelton Simmons. Fletcher has reached base safely in his first two games as the Angels' leadoff hitter in 2020.

Correa went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over Seattle.

Correa, who has batted sixth in the first two games of 2020, opened the season with hits and RBI in both games. He's had three straight seasons impacted by injuries.

Camargo (hamstring) went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 5-3 extra-inning win over the Mets.

Camargo ended up only missing one game as he recovered from a mild hamstring strain. The 26-year-old played all 10 innings at third base and batted seventh in the contest. He scored on a William Contreras double in the 10th inning. Camargo's best path to at-bats will be at third base, but he has the defensive capabilities to serve in a utility role if he can't produce at the dish.

Crawford went 3-for-4 with a pair of triples and scored a run in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Astros.

Crawford showed off his speed with the pair of triples, and he was able to score in the fifth inning after a Mallex Smith groundout. The 25-year-old Crawford had four triples and five stolen bases in 93 games last season. It appears Crawford will be the primary shortstop for the Mariners this season, but Dee Gordon could earn some time there as well.

Diaz said Saturday that his groin strain is between Grade 1 and Grade 2, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Diaz's left Friday's game against the Mariners with the injury and landed on the injured list Saturday. It's not exactly clear when he's expected to return, but it sounds as though he could miss a few weeks, which would represent a significant portion of the shortened season. With Yordan Alvarez (undisclosed) still weeks away from game action, the Astros will have to figure out what to do at designated hitter against lefties, which could involve some combination of Kyle Tucker, Abraham Toro or Taylor Jones.

DeJong went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored during Saturday's 9-1 win over the Pirates.

The 26-year-old clubbed a clutch two-run homer during the eighth inning of Friday's opener, and he brought home two more runs during Saturday's contest. DeJong is 3-for-7 with three runs, four RBI and a walk over the first two games, and he'll look to cap off the series in style Sunday versus Pirates starter Mitch Keller.

Baez went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's loss to the Brewers.

Baez went 0-for-4 in Friday's season opener but bounced back quickly. He remains one of the most potent offensive players in the league and should produce good counting stats in the heart of a strong Chicago lineup.

Crawford isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Crawford went 1-for-5 over the first two games of the season and will get a day off Saturday. Mauricio Dubon will shift to shortstop with Darin Ruf entering the starting lineup at first base, batting fourth.
