Rogers signed a three-year, $37 million contract with the Blue Jays on Friday that includes a vesting option for 2029, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

After bolstering their rotation by signing Dylan Cease and Cody Ponce earlier this offseason, the Blue Jays now add an elite back-end bullpen arm in the form of Rogers. The 34-year-old righty enjoyed one of his best MLB seasons in 2025, logging a 1.98 ERA and 0.94 WHIP across 77.1 innings between the Giants and Mets. Given Jeff Hoffman's struggles as Toronto's primary closer this past season (4.37 ERA), there's a chance that Rogers takes over as the club's primary ninth-inning option.

Martinez signed a minor-league contract with the Yankees on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

Martinez spent the entire 2025 campaign with the Brewers' Triple-A affiliate, where he slashed .255/.357/.388 with 40 RBI and 40 runs scored across 311 plate appearances. He'll have the opportunity to battle for a spot on the Yankees' Opening Day roster during the spring, but he's likely destined to begin the new season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The Tigers traded Lee to the Blue Jays on Friday in exchange for Johan Simon, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Lee reached the big leagues for the first time in 2025 and finished the regular season with a 4.10 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over 37.1 innings. He'll now help bolster Toronto's bullpen, but he's unlikely to work as more than a middle-relief option.

The Royals signed Cuas to a minor-league contract Friday.

Cuas spent all of the 2025 season in the minors after collecting a 4.37 ERA and 122:69 K:BB over 119.1 frames at the major-league level from 2022-2024. The first one-and-a-half of those seasons was spent with the Royals. Cuas should be ticketed for Triple-A Omaha to begin the 2026 campaign.

The Yankees signed Fellows to a minor-league contract Friday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Fellows split the 2025 season between the rotation and bullpen at Triple-A Indianapolis in the Pirates organization, posting a 3.86 ERA and 35:11 K:BB over 30.1 frames during his time as a reliever. The Yankees plan to utilize him in a bullpen role in 2026. Fellows has yet to reach the big leagues and will likely begin the 2026 season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The White Sox claimed Rolison off waivers from Atlanta on Friday.

Atlanta designated Rolison for assignment Thursday and he's quickly been scooped up off waivers. The lefty held a 7.02 ERA and 25:20 K:BB over 42.1 innings with the Rockies in 2025. Rolison will compete for a role in the Opening Day bullpen, but he has minor-league options remaining so the White Sox could send him to Triple-A Charlotte if he doesn't make the club.

The Orioles outrighted Noda to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Noda passed through waivers unclaimed after being booted off the 40-man roster, and he will remain in the organization. After flashing some promise in his rookie season with the Athletics in 2023, the 29-year-old Noda has slashed only .127/.262/.197 in 59 games at the big-league level the last two years.

The Royals and Garcia (hamstring) avoided arbitration by agreeing to a five-year contract extension with a club option for 2031 on Friday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Anne Rogers of MLB.com says the deal is worth a guaranteed $57.5 million and can reach $85 million if he hits escalators and the option is exercised. Garcia had been eligible for salary arbitration for the first time as a Super 2 qualifier, but his new deal with cover all arbitration years and at least one year of free agency. Slated to turn 26 in March, Garcia had a breakout 2025 season, slashing .286/.351/.449 with 16 home runs and 23 stolen bases while capturing his first American League Gold Glove award. The third baseman recently strained his hamstring while playing in the Venezuelan Winter League, but he should be fine for the beginning of spring training.

Torres (groin) has been cleared to participate in all baseball activities, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Torres underwent sports hernia surgery in October, an injury that he played through over the final month of the regular season and into the playoffs. He is now fully recovered from the operation and can proceed with his normal offseason training. Torres will return as the Tigers' everyday second baseman in 2026 after accepting the team's one-year, $22.025 million qualifying offer.

Olson (shoulder) was scheduled to begin a throwing progression this week, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Olson missed the final two month of the regular season and the playoffs with a right shoulder strain, but he is expected to be ready to go for the start of spring training. The right-hander has dealt with injury issues but has been effective when on the bump, boasting a career 3.60 ERA and 269:91 K:BB over 284.2 regular-season innings since 2023.
