DeLauter was pulled from Saturday's contest in the first inning against Detroit due to an apparent injury to his right side, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

DeLauter crashed into the outfield wall while trying to corral a ball hit by Gleyber Torres in the top of the first inning. It's not clear if that was related to what happened during DeLauter's at-bat in the bottom of the frame, when he hit a single off Tarik Skubal but appeared to be grabbing at his right side as he approached first base. DeLauter was subsequently replaced by pinch runner Daniel Schneemann. The Guardians could have an update on DeLauter's status during or shortly after Saturday's game.

Collins is out of the starting lineup Saturday versus Houston.

Collins will get his first day off since June 2 after batting .222 with only one extra-base hit and a 6:6 BB:K over his past nine contests. Lane Thomas is starting in left field in Collins' place Saturday.

Leiter (3-6) took the loss against the Red Sox on Friday, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out three batters across five innings.

Leiter had a 1-0 lead to work with when he first took the mound Friday, but he watched it quickly disappear as Wilyer Abreu drove in a run on a sacrifice fly and Willson Contreras homered in the next at-bat to make it a 2-1 game after the first inning. Leiter then gave up four consecutive hits to lead off the fifth inning, sparking a four-run outburst from the Red Sox that would put the game well out of reach. The 26-year-old righty has now given up exactly five earned runs in back-to-back starts and has amassed just five combined strikeouts during those outings. He'll aim to right the ship next week against the Twins at home.

Anthony continues to experience pain in his injured right hand when swinging, though he still believes he is progressing in his recovery, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Anthony has been out of action since early May due to a sprained ligament at the base of his right ring finger. He's resumed swinging a bat and then been shut down on multiple occasions, as he hasn't yet been able to shed the discomfort caused by the injury. Anthony explained Saturday, "[it's] progressing a lot slower than I had imagined in the beginning of this but definitely progressing, which is the biggest thing. It's just pain in my hand. That's what it was until it's not that, I'll be here. But as soon as it feels like it starts to get a whole lot better, I'm sure we'll have a better idea of where we're at and how it's going to go from there." The star slugger isn't expected to be ready to return to action until at least early July, and he'll likely need to be able to swing at full capacity without pain before the Red Sox feel comfortable activating him.

Gray (8-1) earned the win Friday against the Rangers, allowing one earned run on five hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over six innings.

Gray got into a bit of trouble early, allowing three of the first four batters he faced to record a hit to put the Red Sox in an early 1-0 hole. However, he managed to regain his composure and keep the Rangers off the scoreboard for the rest of the night while allowing just two additional knocks. The 36-year-old righty remains as dependable as ever, allowing three runs or fewer in each of his last eight starts and collecting wins in six of those outings. He's lined up to make his next start at home against Toronto.

Stanton tweaked his injured right calf while running the bases this week, and he may need to undergo more medical imaging, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Stanton had been ramping up toward a return to action, and manager Aaron Boone suggested Saturday that the slugger had been expected to be activated during the early portion of the Yankees' upcoming homestand, which begins Tuesday. That plan is now in peril, though it's unclear at this point how much Stanton's setback will push back his timeline.

Keith is out of the starting lineup against the Guardians on Saturday.

Cleveland is starting southpaw Joey Cantillo, so the left-handed-hitting Keith is beginning on the bench. As a result, Jahmai Jones is getting a turn as the Tigers' designated hitter.

Smith struck out one batter in a perfect ninth inning to secure the save in Friday's win over the Tigers.

Smith needed just 13 pitches to retire the side in order, picking up a strikeout of Riley Greene in the process, to convert his 19th straight save chance. The 27-year-old righty remains on top of the MLB saves leaderboard with 22 and boasts a 2.59 ERA and 1.02 WHIP with a 47:5 K:BB through 31.1 innings.

Carpenter isn't starting for Detroit in Saturday's matchup versus the Guardians.

Carpenter has only 12 plate appearances against southpaws this season and has gone 1-for-10, so it's not surprising that he's beginning on the bench versus Cleveland lefty Joey Cantillo. Wenceel Perez is drawing the start in right field in Carpenter's stead Saturday.

Bibee (2-7) earned the win Friday against Detroit, giving up two earned runs on two hits and two walks while striking out eight batters across seven innings.

Bibee gave up solo homers to James Outman and Spencer Torkelson, but those ended up being the only hits he would allow en route to collecting his second consecutive win. The 27-year-old righty has now tallied six quality starts in his last seven outings and put up a 3.43 ERA and 0.92 WHIP across 44.2 innings in that span. He'll look to keep building on the momentum he's gained during his next outing on the road against the Brewers.
