Hunter Gaddis SP | CLE
Guardians' Hunter Gaddis: MRI on forearm is negative
Gaddis underwent an MRI due to mild forearm tightness, which came back negative, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.
Gaddis made his spring training debut this past Friday but came out of the appearance with an arm issue. He's been cleared of structural damage and will be reevaluated Thursday to determine his readiness to resume a throwing program. If healthy, Gaddis will be used in a setup role for the Guardians this season ahead of closer Cade Smith.

Carlos Narvaez C | BOS
Red Sox's Carlos Narvaez: Scratched with back spasms
Narvaez was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's exhibition game against Team Puerto Rico due to back spasms, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.
Narvaez experienced the back spasm Monday and is expected to return to action Wednesday after taking a day to recover. The 27-year-old is expected to open 2026 as Boston's No. 1 catcher after posting a .725 OPS with 15 home runs as a rookie in 118 regular-season games last year.

Addison Barger 3B | TOR
Blue Jays' Addison Barger: Slugs first spring homer
Barger went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox.
The 26-year-old got hold of a hanging splitter from minor-leaguer Patrick Halligan for his first homer of the spring. Barger is expected to spend most of his time in right field this season while Kazuma Okamoto handles third base, and defensive stability could allow him to build on his 2025 breakout at the plate, when he slashed .243/.301/.454 in 135 games with 21 home runs.

Cody Ponce RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Cody Ponce: Getting stretched out
Ponce allowed one run on four hits over two innings in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox. He struck out two without walking a batter.
The right-hander built up to 32 pitches (18 strikes) against a Boston lineup that consisted of prospects and big-league depth players. Ponce has looked good so far this spring as he gets ready to pitch in MLB for the first time since 2021, posting a 4:0 K:BB through his first two appearances and three innings.

Carlos Narvaez C | BOS
Red Sox's Carlos Narvaez: Scratched Tuesday
Narvaez was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's exhibition game versus Team Puerto Rico for unspecified reasons, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
It's unclear if Narvaez is dealing with an injury, but he's been removed from the starting nine after initially being penciled in as the designated hitter. The 27-year-old backstop underwent a left knee meniscectomy early in the offseason but entered camp fully healthy.

Noah Cameron P | KC
Royals' Noah Cameron: Struggles in spring outing
Cameron allowed three runs on six hits, a walk and a hit-by-pitch over 2.2 innings in Monday's Cactus League loss to the Angels. He did not record a strikeout.
Cameron struggled in Monday's outing, allowing plenty of traffic on the basepaths and having difficulty finishing hitters. He's never been overpowering, but the 26-year-old averaged just 90.3 mph on his fastball (topping out at 91.8 mph) against the Angels after sitting at 92.4 mph last season. The southpaw posted a strong 2.99 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 24 starts and 138.1 innings in 2025, though a 4.17 FIP and 7.4 K/9 point toward potential regression. Cameron is currently tracking toward a spot in the Royals' rotation, but strong depth options such as Stephen Kolek (oblique), Ryan Bergert and Bailey Falter will push him.

Nick Loftin 1B | KC
Royals' Nick Loftin: Strong spring continues
Loftin started at first base and went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Monday's Cactus League loss to the Angels.
Loftin consistently squared the ball up Monday, rocketing both of his hits at 103.8 mph, with his lone out coming on a 99.4 mph groundout. The 27-year-old is off to a strong start in Cactus League play, going 5-for-17 with two doubles, a homer, six RBI and a stolen base through seven appearances. The utility man hit just .208/.278/.357 with 15 extra-base hits and 20 RBI across 67 MLB appearances last season but is competing for a spot on the Kansas City bench in 2026. With 10 Royals on the 40-man roster away competing in the World Baseball Classic, Loftin stands to benefit from additional spring opportunities, according to Anne Rogers of MLB.com.

Wander Suero RP | ATH
Athletics' Wander Suero: Delivers two scoreless frames
Suero allowed a hit and no walks across two scoreless innings in Monday's Cactus League win over the Padres. He struck out one.
Suero entered in the sixth inning and tossed two scoreless frames, with a two-out Clay Dungan single in the seventh inning representing the lone baserunner against him. The veteran right-hander, who relies primarily on a cutter, signed a minor-league deal with the Athletics in November after seeing limited MLB action in recent years, with his last extended stint coming in 2021 with the Nationals. Suero is competing for a spot in the big-league bullpen and has allowed a run on three hits with three strikeouts across four innings in Cactus League play, though he's more likely to open the 2026 season at Triple-A Las Vegas.

Luis Medina SP | ATH
Athletics' Luis Medina: Being considered for relief role
The Athletics are evaluating Medina for a potential Opening Day bullpen role, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
After missing the second half of 2024 and all of 2025 following Tommy John surgery, Medina made his Cactus League debut Tuesday versus the Padres. He gave up one run on two hits and a walk in one inning, but Medina showed he still has a big fastball, topping out at 98.9 mph on the pitch. Medina is out of minor-league options and will have workload restrictions in 2026, which prompted his shift to relief this spring. The 26-year-old could eventually return to a starter role.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Back in action Tuesday
Lewis (side) is starting at third base and batting leadoff in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Rays.
The third baseman has been sidelined the past few days after some side tightness cropped up last week, but he's ready to rejoin the lineup after having an MRI come back clean and going through live batting practice Sunday. Given Lewis' extensive injury history, fantasy managers should still keep on eye on his health status throughout spring training.
