  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Sent back to Triple-A

The Orioles optioned Hiraldo to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday. The 30-year-old right-hander has posted a 5.87 ERA, 1.70 WHIP and 13:6 K:BB across 7.2 innings out of the Baltimore bullpen this season. He owns a 1.08 ERA and eight strikeouts over 8.1 innings at Triple-A in 2026.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Recalled to majors

The Orioles recalled Hiraldo from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday. The Orioles have an open spot on their pitching staff after sending Dean Kremer to Minnesota on Friday, so they'll bring up Hiraldo to add extra bullpen depth until a fifth starter is needed. Hiraldo gave up four earned runs in 1.2 innings across three appearances with the Orioles back in March before landing on the IL with a shoulder injury. He's given up just one run in 8.1 Triple-A innings since that stint in the big leagues.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Activated, optioned to Triple-A

The Orioles reinstated Hiraldo (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports. Hiraldo has been on the shelf since early April due to right shoulder inflammation. He began a rehab assignment in the minors June 30 and has since given up two earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out four batters in 4.2 innings. Now fully healthy, he'll stay put at Norfolk and fill in as organizational bullpen depth.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Kicking off rehab assignment

Hiraldo (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday at High-A Frederick, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports. Hiraldo had been in line to make his first rehab appearance Sunday, but a rainout pushed him back a couple days in the schedule. The 30-year-old reliever has been on the injured list since April 5 due to right shoulder inflammation and could need several appearances in the minors to knock off rust and hone his command, so it wouldn't be surprising if the Orioles waited until after the All-Star break to activate him.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Set for live BP

Hiraldo (shoulder) will throw live batting practice Friday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports. Hiraldo has slowly been working his way back from right shoulder inflammation, which has sidelined him since early April. The right-hander resumed throwing off a mound in early June, and Friday's session will be a significant step forward if he's able to complete the session unscathed. Hiraldo will likely require multiple outings during a minor-league rehab assignment in order to get back up to speed, but he could return to the major-league roster before the end of the month.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Throwing off mound again

Hiraldo (shoulder) threw a bullpen session last week, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports. It was his first time throwing off the mound since he went down with right shoulder inflammation in early April. Hiraldo will need a rehab assignment before being activated, and it's not a given that he'll return to the major-league club once's he's off the IL.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Resumes throwing

The Orioles announced Monday that Hiraldo (shoulder) has resumed a throwing program, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports. Placed on the injured list April 5 due to right shoulder inflammation, Hiraldo met with Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles on April 20 to receive a second opinion on his injury. Hiraldo apparently received a favorable prognosis, given that the Orioles have signed off on him starting up a throwing program just a few weeks later. Baltimore transferred Hiraldo to the 60-day IL shortly shortly after initially deactivating him, so the right-hander will likely be built up slowly during his throwing program. He'll be eligible to return from the shelf in early June.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Set for second opinion

Hiraldo is scheduled to meet with Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Monday to receive a second opinion on his inflamed right shoulder, Andy Kostka of TheBanner.com reports. Though the Orioles are still labeling Hiraldo's shoulder injury as inflammation, the team's decision to move him from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL last week would seem to suggest that he could be dealing with something more significant. After he receives a second opinion from Dr. ElAttrache, Hiraldo will decide on a treatment plan for his injury. The righty reliever made just three appearances for Baltimore before landing on the shelf.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Moved to 60-day IL

The Orioles transferred Hiraldo (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday. Hiraldo was initially placed on the IL April 5 due to right shoulder inflammation, but his injury may be more significant than the Orioles initially anticipated. Prior to being shelved, the reliever allowed four earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out two across 1.2 innings in three appearances.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Placed on IL

Baltimore placed Hiraldo on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right shoulder inflammation, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports. Hiraldo last pitched Tuesday, when he gave up three runs on two hits and a walk over one inning against Texas. Lefty hurler Cade Povich was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk in a corresponding move.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Back up with big club

The Orioles recalled Hiraldo from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday. Hiraldo has posted a 5.65 ERA and 12:6 K:BB over 14.1 frames during his time with the big club this season. He will give the Orioles a fresh bullpen arm.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Back with big club

Hiraldo was recalled by the Orioles on Thursday. Hiraldo has spent most of the season in the minors but has made three appearances in the majors. The Orioles are dealing with injuries and also traded away depth in their bullpen, so Hiraldo could get an extended look in the majors down the stretch.

  • Orioles' Yaramil Hiraldo: Back with big club

The Orioles recalled Hiraldo from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday. Just one day ago, Hiraldo was optioned to Norfolk, but he'll be eligible to rejoin the Orioles early since the team placed reliever Colin Selby (hamstring) on the 15-day injured list Tuesday in a corresponding move. Hiraldo will likely be ticketed for a low-leverage role in the bullpen, though he could move up the depth chart if the Orioles part with any of their veteran relievers ahead of Thursday's trade deadline.
