Miller (oblique) allowed two runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out three over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Wednesday.

Miller missed over a quarter of the season while recovering from a left oblique strain. He threw 58 of 81 pitches for strikes in his season debut, so he may have had a slight workload limitation in place. That will likely continue in his next start, tentatively expected to be against the White Sox, as Miller and Luis Castillo are expected to work as a tandem in that game to buy the Mariners some time to sort out what to do with their rotation, which has six healthy starters. As long as Miller pitches well, he's likely to be a starter moving forward, though he'll also need to stay healthy as he tries to bounce back from an ugly 5.68 ERA and 1.41 WHIP across 90.1 innings in the 2025 regular season, which was disrupted by elbow troubles.

Cole went 3-for-4 with one RBI and a hit-by-pitch in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Mariners.

Cole posted his first multi-hit effort of the season, including a walk-off single in the 10th inning. He's gone 7-for-23 (.304) across eight games in the majors this year after missing time early in the campaign with Triple-A Sugar Land due to a broken toe. Since his May 4 recall, he has regularly been in the lineup against right-handed pitchers. He's recorded two home runs, six RBI, two runs scored and a double through 24 plate appearances.

Walker went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Mariners.

Walker has a pair of extra-base hits over the last two games following an 0-for-15 stretch at the plate. He's up to 10 homers this season, including three over 12 contests in May. The first baseman has had a couple of shaky stretches but has been mostly reliable with the bat so far in 2026, hitting .275 with an .871 OPS, 29 RBI, 25 runs scored, 10 doubles and no stolen bases over 44 contests.

King allowed one run on one hit and three walks while failing to log a strikeout over one inning versus the Mariners on Wednesday. He was charged with a blown save.

King was unable to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning, though the Astros ultimately got the win in the 10th anyway. King has functioned as Houston's closer in May, converting two of three save chances while allowing two runs over six innings. For the season, he has a 3.57 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 15:8 K:BB through 17.2 innings, and he's converted three of his five save opportunities while adding two holds. King should remain in the closing mix until Josh Hader (biceps) is ready for his season debut.

McCullers allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Wednesday.

McCullers put in a decent effort Wednesday after his previous start was cut short by a blister on his pitching hand. This was one of his better outings this season, though he still allowed solo home runs to J.P. Crawford and Luke Raley. McCullers has a 6.86 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 43:22 K:BB through 39.1 innings over eight starts this season. He's tentatively projected for a road start in Minnesota his next time out.

Peters went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the Royals.

Peters entered Wednesday's game hitless in five of his last six starts, but he contributed to a key rally in the second inning of the win. He drove in the White Sox's first run of the contest with a double and came around to score in the same frame. Peters remains the team's primary center fielder and is hitting .271 with four stolen bases across 107 plate appearances.

Diaz went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to Toronto.

Diaz put forth his 11th multi-hit game of the season Wednesday and his second of the month of May thus far. The veteran infielder has been effective as Tampa Bay's full-time designated hitter in 2026, slashing .297/.375/.432 with 10 extra-base hits, 24 RBI, one stolen base and 20 runs scored across 176 plate appearances. Diaz is stuck in a bit of a power rut, however, having logged just two extra-base hits in his last 13 games.

Burger went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's 6-5 win over Arizona.

Burger matched a season high in RBI on Wednesday, knocking multiple hits for the ninth time this year as well. The 30-year-old first baseman hasn't been all that effective at the plate overall in 2026, but the Rangers are lacking viable alternatives at the cold corner to push Burger for action on a consistent basis. Through 159 at-bats, Burger is hitting .226 with seven homers, five doubles and 27 RBI.

Latz was charged with a blown save Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, allowing three runs on three hits and no walks. He failed to record an out.

Brought in to preserve a 3-2 lead in the ninth inning, Latz allowed six baserunners and even threw a wild pitch in a calamitous outing. The 30-year-old left-hander already had a loose grip on Texas' closer role, but his numbers remain strong enough that the Rangers figure to continue deploying him as their primary ninth-inning option. Even after Wednesday's outing, Latz has a 2.08 ERA, 0.60 WHIP and 17:5 K:BB across 21.2 innings while converting five of his seven save chances.

Rocker took a no-decision Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, allowing no runs on three hits and four walks in five innings. He struck out three.

The 26-year-old right-hander turned in one of his best starts of the season Wednesday. Although Rocker matched a season worst in free passes, he scattered three singles during his first scoreless outing of the year and also tied a season most in pitches (97). Rocker still has an underwhelming 4.34 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 30:17 K:BB across 37.1 innings, so fantasy managers may want to consider shying away from him in his next scheduled appearance at hitter-friendly Coors Field against the Rockies.
