Thorpe (elbow) struck out three batters and allowed two earned runs on four hits and no walks over five innings in his most recent rehab start for Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.

Thorpe has been on the shelf all season while completing his recovery from April 2025 Tommy John surgery. He's been able to complete five innings in three of four Triple-A outings, but rather than activating him from the 60-day injured list, the White Sox have so far elected to keep him on an extended rehab assignment. Over four appearances for Triple-A Charlotte, he's turned in a 3.20 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 18:3 K:BB in 19.2 innings.

Dobnak (3-3) earned the win against the Blue Jays on Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out three.

A solo home run by Josh Smith in the sixth inning left the lone blemish on Dobnak's line in an otherwise excellent performance. The right-hander has been a reliable presence in Kansas City's injury-riddled rotation, giving up more than one run just four times across his 12 outings. He'll take a 2.54 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 43:23 K:BB over 63.2 innings into his next scheduled appearance against the Red Sox.

The Yankees optioned Rodriguez to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Padres.

Rodriguez turned in a quality start at home against the Astros on Aug. 26 and was rewarded with another start Monday against the Angels. However, he failed to build on the success from his previous outing, allowing four runs and taking the loss in Anaheim. The 23-year-old right-hander will now return to Triple-A as Will Warren slots back into the New York rotation this week against Colorado.

Volpe went 7-for-15 with two home runs, two doubles, two walks, five RBI, four runs and two stolen bases while starting in Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's last three games since exiting Wednesday's 9-2 win over Lehigh Valley due to a right forearm contusion.

Volpe sustained the bruise when he was hit by a pitch, but the injury didn't cost him any further time. The 25-year-old has been running hot at the plate at Triple-A in September, slashing .524/.615/.1.095 through the first six games of the month. While Volpe's performance would appear to make him deserving of a call-up, the Yankees may not have a spot on the active roster available for him unless they lose another infielder to an injury.

Warren is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Rockies at Yankee Stadium, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

During Friday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Padres, Warren made his second relief appearance of the season, firing 2.1 scoreless frames of relief behind starter Max Fried. The Yankees will separate Warren and Fried during the upcoming week, with Warren getting the nod Wednesday and Fried taking the hill Thursday. Warren will likely be ticketed for the bullpen during the playoffs, but he could pick up a few more starts before the regular season wraps up.

White went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Orioles.

White provided all of the club's offense from the ninth spot in the batting order, launching a three-run blast off Kyle Bradish in the second inning. The 32-year-old has drawn four straight starts, replacing the injured Ceddanne Rafaela (quadriceps), and is in the midst of a six-game hitting streak, tallying four extra-base hits and eight RBI during that stretch. For the year, he's slashing .246/.291/.404 with six homers, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored and five steals across 196 plate appearances with Atlanta and Boston.

Bradish (7-13) took the loss against the Red Sox on Sunday, allowing three unearned runs on two hits and four walks with three strikeouts over four innings.

Bradish was done in by a three-run homer in the second after Gunnar Henderson committed an error with two outs. He labored overall, though, needing 85 pitches to complete just four innings. It's been a tough second half for the 29-year-old, who owns a 4.63 ERA in nine outings since the All-Star break while failing to exceed five frames four times over that stretch. He'll take a 3.91 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 140:68 K:BB across 152 innings this season into a road matchup with the Blue Jays next weekend.

Tolle (9-6) earned the win against the Orioles on Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and no walks with 12 strikeouts over six innings.

Tolle yielded a run in the first inning and then dominated, throwing 70 of 91 pitches for strikes with 17 whiffs. The rookie southpaw tallied his third double-digit strikeout performance of the campaign, and he's now completed at least five frames in each of his nine second-half outings while recording four quality starts. He'll carry a 3.15 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 159:37 K:BB across 137 innings this season into a home matchup with the Royals next weekend.

Chapman earned the save in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Orioles, allowing one hit and no walks with two strikeouts in a scoreless ninth inning.

Chapman was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning and quieted the top of the Orioles' order to close the door. The veteran closer owns a 1.80 ERA in 20 second-half appearances and has now converted 17 straight save chances since his last blown save June 28. On the year, he's 33-for-35 in save opportunities with a 2.03 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 65:20 K:BB across 48.2 innings.

Munoz pitched a perfect inning and struck out one to earn the save in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Athletics.

Munoz finished the job after Bryan Woo's eight innings of one-hit ball. A rough end to August saw Munoz work in non-save situations for his first two games in September, and he's started the month with 2.2 perfect innings. He's had his share of struggles with a 4.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 83:20 K:BB through 52.1 innings this season, and he has converted 25 of 34 save chances.
