Eduardo Rivera SP | BOS
Red Sox's Eduardo Rivera: Game postponed Tuesday
Rivera won't start as scheduled Tuesday against the Orioles since the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Ranger Suarez (groin) was initially poised to come off the injured list to start Tuesday, but the Red Sox then announced Rivera as their starting pitcher before the game was ultimately postponed. The rookie left-hander could pitch in Wednesday's doubleheader, but Suarez also remains in the mix to start the nightcap.

Joshua Lowe LF | LAA
Angels' Josh Lowe: Idle Tuesday
Lowe is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Cardinals.
Lowe went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in the series-opening 3-2 win over the Cardinals on Tuesday. As the 28-year-old sits Tuesday, Jose Siri starts in left field, batting eighth.

Kyle Bradish SP | BAL
Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Tuesday's game postponed
Bradish won't start Tuesday against the Red Sox since the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
The game will be made up via a doubleheader Wednesday, during which Bradish will presumably pitch one of those contests. The right-hander, who has a 3.61 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 106:50 K:BB across 107.1 innings through 19 starts this season, is fresh off signing a five-year, $90 million extension with the Orioles on Saturday.

Denzer Guzman 3B | LAA
Angels' Denzer Guzman: Sitting Tuesday
Guzman is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Cardinals.
Vaughn Grissom will start at the hot corner and bat fifth Tuesday while Guzman rests on the bench. With Grissom at third, Oswald Peraza is taking over at second. Guzman has gone 4-for-19 with a home run across the last six games.

Max Muncy 3B | ATH
Athletics' Max Muncy: Back in big leagues
The Athletics recalled Muncy from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.
With Joshua Kuroda-Grauer (groin) facing an extended stay on the injured list, Muncy will rejoin the big club to bolster its infield depth. The 23-year-old owns just a .699 OPS through 175 plate appearances in the majors this season, but he's gone 7-for-20 with two homers, five RBI and five runs scored in five games since his demotion to Triple-A on July 8. He and Tommy White will likely compete for starts at the hot corner until Kuroda-Grauer is healthy.

Bobby Witt SS | KC
Royals' Bobby Witt: Back feeling 'pretty stiff'
Manager Matt Quatraro said that Witt, who is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants, is still feeling "pretty stiff" as he continues to manage back spasms and tightness, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.
The All-Star shortstop returned to the lineup Monday after missing one game due to lower-back tightness, but he was unable to finish the contest. Witt should be considered day-to-day for now, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Royals opt to give him a couple days off to recover since the injury is lingering. Tyler Tolbert is picking up a start at shortstop Tuesday for Kansas City.

Joshua Kuroda-Grauer 2B | ATH
Athletics' Joshua Kuroda-Grauer: Placed on injured list
The Athletics placed Kuroda-Grauer on the 10-day injured list Tuesday following surgery for a ruptured testicle.
The A's haven't provided a timeline for Kuroda-Grauer's return, though he will likely remain on the shelf beyond the 10-day minimum. Max Muncy will come up from Triple-A Las Vegas in a corresponding move and could see time at third base while Kuroda-Grauer is out.

Hayden Juenger RP | ATH
Athletics' Hayden Juenger: Recalled from Triple-A
The Athletics recalled Juenger from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Juenger will provide depth to the Athletics' bullpen while Mark Leiter (hip) is on the injured list. Juenger has given up five earned runs in six innings at Las Vegas since being traded to the A's in June, and he will likely be limited to low-leverage situations while in the majors.
-
Mark Leiter RP | ATH
Athletics' Mark Leiter: Back on IL
The Athletics placed Leiter on the 15-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to Sunday, with a right hip impingement.
Leiter already spent time on the injured list in late June and early July due to a right hip impingement, and he'll now end up back on the shelf after aggravating the injury. Hayden Juenger was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas in a corresponding move to replenish the Athletics' bullpen depth.

Colson Montgomery SS | CHW
White Sox's Colson Montgomery: Scratched from Tuesday's lineup
Montgomery (shin) was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.
After fouling a pitch off his right shin Monday against the Rangers, the 24-year-old shortstop was initially penciled in to start Tuesday's contest. Montgomery will instead miss at least one start due to the injury and should be considered day-to-day with the bruise.
