Burns (4-1) earned the win against the Astros on Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts over six innings.

Burns allowed a solo homer in the fifth inning but otherwise kept the Astros in check despite issuing more walks than strikeouts. It marked the third straight quality start for the 23-year-old, and he's now limited opponents to two earned runs or fewer in seven of eight outings this season. He'll carry a 2.11 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 48:16 K:BB across 47 innings into a road matchup against the Guardians next weekend.

The Dodgers placed Stewart on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to a left foot bone spur, Noah Camras of SI.com reports.

Stewart was cleared to make his 2026 debut Wednesday after opening the season on the 15-day IL while continuing to recover from right shoulder surgery that he underwent in September. He appeared in two games out of the bullpen for the Dodgers, tossing two scoreless and hitless innings while striking out three batters. Stewart is eligible to return from the IL in late May, though it's unclear whether he'll be ready by then. Blake Snell (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day IL in a corresponding move.

The Dodgers reinstated Snell (shoulder) from the injured list Saturday.

Snell will be making his season debut Saturday after landing on the injured list at the start of the season with a sore left shoulder. He had been originally scheduled for an additional rehab start Saturday after building up to 55 pitches during his last outing Sunday, so the Dodgers will likely limit his pitch count while he faces a tough Atlanta lineup. Brock Stewart (foot) was placed on the 15-day IL in a corresponding move.

Harper was removed from Saturday's game against the Rockies due to a migraine, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Harper was taken out of the game in the first inning before recording a plate appearance. If he ends up needing to miss additional time, Felix Reyes would be next up to start at first base for the Phillies.

Vaughn isn't in Milwaukee's starting lineup versus the Yankees on Saturday.

Vaughn returned Monday from a lengthy stint on the injured list due to a hand injury. He started each of the Brewers' subsequent three games (once at first base and twice at DH) and went 3-for-11 with a homer, three runs and three RBI. Vaughn will get a breather for at least a portion of Saturday while Jake Bauers starts at first base and Tyler Black slots in at DH.

Tovar isn't in Colorado's starting lineup Saturday versus Philadelphia.

It will be Tovar's second day out of the starting nine across the Rockies' past three games amidst a season-long slump. The 24-year-old is slashing a meager .187/.236/.269 over 144 plate appearances on the campaign and has gone just 6-for-54 (.111 batting average) at the dish over his past 18 games. Willi Castro is drawing the start at shortstop in Tovar's stead Saturday.

Martinez (elbow) tossed a bullpen session Friday, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

This was Martinez's first time throwing off a mound since he underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow last July. Per Piecoro, the reliever was at 96-to-99 mph with his fastball during the bullpen session. Martinez still has several more hurdles to clear in his rehab program, and he's not expected to be ready to return to Arizona's bullpen until sometime after the All-Star break.

San Francisco recalled McDonald from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

McDonald's call-up is the result of Logan Webb (knee) landing on the injured list. It thus seems likely that McDonald will slide into Webb's spot in the rotation, and the former could make his next start Monday in Los Angeles against the Dodgers. McDonald impressed in his only outing with the Giants so this season, allowing one run on two hits and no walks while striking out eight batters over seven innings in a win over the Padres last Monday.

The Giants placed Webb on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to right knee bursitis, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Webb experienced discomfort in his right knee during his most recent start Tuesday versus San Diego, and the star hurler has subsequently been diagnosed with bursitis. He'll need to miss at least a few turns through the rotation as a result, and Trevor McDonald was called up from the minors to take Webb's spot in San Francisco's rotation. Pavlovic notes that Webb has dealt with the knee issue previously and adds that the Giants expect their ace to be ready to return when eligible.

Mitchell (illness) is starting in center field and batting seventh against the Yankees on Saturday.

Mitchell was scratched due to an illness Wednesday and didn't start Friday, though he did enter the latter contest in the fourth inning after Brandon Lockridge exited with a knee injury. That was a good sign that Mitchell had shown improvement, and the veteran outfielder is now feeling well enough to return to the starting lineup. He'll look to snap an 0-for-10 stretch over his last four games.
