Laureano went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 7-2 win over Colorado.

Laureano went deep for the second straight game, crushing a middle-middle cutter from Valente Bellozo over the left-field fence to extend San Diego's lead in the sixth inning. Amid a slow start for much of the Padres' lineup, Laureano has been highly productive, slashing .268/.339/.536 with four homers, 10 runs, 11 RBI and three stolen bases through 15 games.

In his second stint with San Diego, France has primarily been deployed as a platoon bat against left-handed pitching, though Sunday's performance came against right-handers after planned starter Kyle Freeland (shoulder) was a late scratch.

Bellozo allowed five runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out one over 4.1 innings in Sunday's loss to the Padres.

The results were lackluster, as the right-hander struggled with his command and served up three homers. Through 10.2 big-league innings this season, Bellozo owns a 7.59 ERA and 1.59 WHIP.

Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, one walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Cubs.

With the wind whipping out to center at Wrigley Field on Sunday, Cruz led off the game with a solo blast. He struck out in each of his next three trips to the plate before walking and stealing his sixth base of the season in the ninth inning. It's been an all-or-nothing start to the 2026 campaign for Cruz, who is slashing .339/.400/.644 with five homers, 13 RBI, 11 runs scored, six steals and a 5:20 BB:K across 65 plate appearances.

Pham is expected to be called up to the Mets' major-league roster Monday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Pham will join the big-league club ahead of New York's three-game set on the road against the Dodgers. The 38-year-old will provide the team with an additional option in the outfield with Juan Soto (calf) still sidelined. Pham signed a minor-league contract with the Mets in late March, so he'll have to be added to the 40-man roster before being called up.

Lowe went 2-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Cubs.

With the wind blowing out at Wrigley Field on Sunday, the Pirates and Cubs combined for five home runs. Lowe walked in the first inning before taking Jameson Taillon deep for a grand slam in the second. He later tagged Taillon again for a solo shot in the fifth. Lowe entered Sunday with just one extra-base hit and zero RBI in April, so this was a much-needed slump-busting performance for the second baseman. Lowe is slashing .245/.373/.592 with five home runs, nine RBI, seven runs scored and a 10:13 BB:K across 59 plate appearances.

Chandler didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Cubs, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts across 5.1 innings.

Chandler struck out Seiya Suzuki to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning, and his afternoon was done at 91 pitches. Hunter Barco closed out the sixth, and Chandler was in line for the win before the bullpen imploded late. Chandler's stuff was electric Sunday, but he was hurt by the long ball on a day the wind was gusting out to center field. Chandler served up a pair of solo shots to Dansby Swanson and Moises Ballesteros in the third inning. Chandler is still looking for his first win of the season and now owns a 3.86 ERA and 14:12 K:BB across 14 innings. Command has obviously been a problem. Chandler is in line to face the Rays at home Friday.

Schmitt went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Orioles.

Schmitt reached base in each of his final three plate appearances, highlighted by a solo blast in the ninth inning. The 27-year-old has now hit safely in five straight games, a stretch that includes 11 total hits, five of which have gone for extra bases. On the year, he's slashing .368/.429/.579 with one homer, four RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base across 42 plate appearances while earning time at first base and designated hitter.

Swanson went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and three runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Pirates.

Swanson has had a tough start to the 2026 season, as he entered Sunday's game with a .149 average and .515 OPS through the first 14 games. The shortstop got the scoring started for the Cubs in this one, taking Bubba Chandler deep to lead off the bottom of the third inning. He later walked and scored in the seventh and eighth innings. Swanson is slashing .163/.311/.306 with two home runs, seven RBI, 11 runs scored, one stolen base and an 11:17 BB:K across 61 trips to the plate.
