Harris went 4-for-4 in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Harris had gone 0-for-9 with two strikeouts over three games during Atlanta's series in Seattle earlier in the week after returning from a quadriceps injury . This was his first multi-hit effort since April 25 versus the Phillies. The outfielder's recent cooldown was somewhat expected, but he's still hitting .319 with an .878 OPS, seven home runs, 22 RBI, 14 runs scored, four doubles and two stolen bases over 36 contests.

Sale (6-2) allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and struck out seven without walking a batter over seven innings, taking the loss versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Sale's four-start winning streak came to an end in this battle between early leaders in the National League this season. This was also just the second time in eight starts Sale has given up more than one run, with both of those instances coming in Southern California. Sale has a dominant 2.20 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 56:12 K:BB across 49 innings over eight starts this season. The southpaw will look to bounce back in his next start, which is projected to be at home versus the Cubs.

Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-1 win over Atlanta.

Freeman tacked a third run onto Chris Sale's line when he went deep in the sixth inning. Steady Freddie hasn't been held hitless in May, going 10-for-28 (.357) with five RBI over seven games this month. For the season, the first baseman is batting .278 with a .786 OPS, four homers, 20 RBI, 14 runs scored, 10 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases over 36 contests.

Scott struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-1 win over Atlanta.

Scott has allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out seven over his last five innings. The Dodgers aren't generating a ton of save chances for him, but he has pitched well enough to maintain his hold on a share of ninth-inning duties while Edwin Diaz (elbow) is out. Scott has pitched to a 1.65 ERA, 0.61 WHIP and 16:2 K:BB across 16.1 innings while adding three saves and four holds. Alex Vesia is also in the mix for saves, but he was utilized to put out a fire in the fifth inning Friday.

Sheehan allowed one run on six hits and a walk while striking out seven over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus Atlanta on Friday.

Sheehan pitched well but got into a jam in the fifth inning. He was pulled at 88 pitches (64 strikes), and Alex Vesia was able to escape the trouble with no damage done. Sheehan has fallen short of the five-inning mark in consecutive starts, and he's gone four outings without a win despite allowing a modest eight runs across 20.2 innings in that span. For the season, he's at a 4.79 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 43:10 K:BB through 35.2 innings across seven starts. As long as the walk rate stays down, Sheehan should continue to improve. His next start is tentatively projected to be at home versus the Giants.

Ozuna went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Giants.

Ozuna has gone 9-for-27 (.333) with two homers, six RBI and a 4:5 BB:K over his last seven games. The slugger is still digging his way out of a cold start to the season, but he's had fairly steady playing time at designated hitter to do that. He's batting .198 with a .593 OPS, four homers, 14 RBI, 11 runs scored and three doubles across 32 contests this year.

Mlodzinski (2-3) allowed two runs on seven hits and struck out one without walking a batter over six innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Giants.

A Rafael Devers home run and a Heliot Ramos RBI single accounted for the two runs on his line. Mlodzinski's single strikeout was a bit of a disappointment after he racked up 10 punchouts versus the Reds last Saturday. This was his first quality start of the season, and it ended a stretch of three poor outings in which he allowed a total of 15 runs (14 earned) across 13.2 innings. He's had fairly mixed results overall with a 4.50 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 41:13 K:BB through 40 innings over eight appearances (seven starts). The right-hander offers strikeout upside in a favorable projected matchup next week at home versus the Rockies.

Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Pirates.

Devers tied the game at 1-1 with his second-inning blast. He's hit safely in his last eight contests, going 9-for-26 (.346) in that span with six RBI and four extra-base hits. The improved performance at the plate is a good sign as he faces some increased pressure from top prospect Bryce Eldridge for playing time. Devers is still hitting a meager .229 with a .625 OPS on the year, and he's racked up four homers, 16 RBI, 12 runs scored, six doubles and no stolen bases over 38 contests.

Ray (3-4) allowed one run on four hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win over the Pirates on Friday.

Ray earned his fourth quality start of the season with this performance. The lone blemish was a Marcell Ozuna solo home run in the second inning. Ray's not reinventing the wheel at this point in his career -- he racks up steady strikeout numbers while also walking a lot of batters, as he's issued at least three free passes in five of his eight starts this year. So far, he's been good enough to limit the damage, posting a 2.76 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 47:18 K:BB through 45.2 innings. His next start is lined up to be on the road versus the Dodgers.

Herrera went 4-for-5 with a run scored in Friday's 6-0 win over the Padres.

Herrera logged his third multi-hit effort over seven games in May. He's batting .357 (10-for-28) this month while adding a 3:9 BB:K. For the season, the catcher is hitting .263 with an .837 OPS, four home runs, 10 doubles, 17 RBI, 22 runs scored and one stolen base across 38 contests. Herrera has settled in as the Cardinals' regular No. 2 hitter while splitting time between designated hitter and catcher.
