Merrill Kelly SP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Merrill Kelly: Season debut set for Tuesday
Kelly (back) will be reinstated from the 15-day injured list to make his season debut Tuesday in Baltimore, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
The right-hander threw five scoreless frames in a minor-league rehab start April 3 and continued to build up at extended spring training this past week with a six-inning, 83-pitch appearance. Kelly has missed the first few weeks of the season due to a back injury, but he should be able to handle a near-full workload for the Diamondbacks in his 2026 debut.

Francisco Alvarez C | NYM
Mets' Francisco Alvarez: Receiving breather Sunday
Alvarez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Alvarez started the previous six games and went 6-for-19 (.316) with three walk and a homer during that span, and he'll get a well-deserved day off. Luis Torrens will step in behind the plate to do the catching for righty Freddy Peralta.

Mark Vientos 1B | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Sitting amid slump
Vientos is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Vientos had settled in as the Mets' primary first baseman while Jorge Polanco (Achilles) is less than 100 percent but will hit the bench Sunday while in the midst of an 0-for-15 slump. Jared Young will take over at first base and bat third in the series finale versus the A's.

Luis Robert CF | NYM
Mets' Luis Robert: Out of Sunday's lineup
Robert is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
It's likely just a maintenance day for Robert, who started the previous six games and batted .364 (8-for-22) with four walks, a homer, two steals and five runs during that span. Carson Benge will shift to center field for Sunday's series finale while Tyrone Taylor and Brett Baty start in the corners.

Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Getting break Sunday
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Masyn Winn SS | STL
Cardinals' Masyn Winn: Absence continuing Sunday
Winn (shin) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox and won't be available off the bench, David Solomon of the Associated Press reports.
Winn sustained the left shin bruise Friday on a hit by pitch and initially expected to be back in the starting nine Saturday, but he'll instead remain out of the lineup Sunday for a second consecutive game. Thomas Saggese will start at shortstop and bat eighth in the series finale for St. Louis. According to David Solomon of the Associated Press, Winn won't be available off the bench Sunday while he waits for the swelling in his leg to subside.

Adrian Del Castillo DH | ARI
Diamondbacks' Adrian Del Castillo: Sitting against righty
Del Castillo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
The left-handed hitter had been in the lineup at designated hitter or catcher in Arizona's last four games, but he'll hit the bench Sunday against righty Andrew Painter. At least until the Diamondbacks get one or two of Gabriel Moreno (back), Carlos Santana (adductor), Pavin Smith (elbow) and Lourdes Gurriel (knee) back from the injured list, Del Castillo should have a fairly clear path to a strong-side platoon role.
