Hill (shoulder) will start in right field and bat sixth in Monday's game against the Cardinals.

Hill made an early departure from Wednesday's 10-4 loss to the Nationals due to a right shoulder contusion, but the Phillies never viewed the injury as a major concern. The Phillies made the veteran outfielder available off the bench for each of their ensuing four games, with Hill making an appearance as a pinch runner Friday and then going 1-for-4 with an RBI and playing seven innings in center field after subbing in for Justin Crawford during Sunday's contest. With Hill's shoulder checking out fine, he'll now enter the starting nine for Monday's series opener while Bryce Harper gets a day off from playing in right field but sticks in the lineup at designated hitter.

Schwellenbach (elbow) was present in Atlanta on Monday to continue his rehab program, but he has yet to receive clearance to face hitters, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Though he began his throwing program in late May, Schwellenbach still hasn't advanced beyond tossing bullpen sessions more than two months later. The right-hander isn't believed to have experienced any setbacks in his recovery from February surgery to remove bone spurs in his elbow; instead, his slow progress appears to be a result of his struggles to regain velocity. Schwellenbach is still expected to return from the 60-day injured list before season's end, but hope is fading for the 26-year-old to get fully stretched out for a starting role.

Devers went 2-for-4 in Sunday's 3-1 extra-inning loss to the Tigers.

Devers singled in the fourth inning and added another in the seventh, marking his third multi-hit performance in August. Across 32 plate appearances this month, the veteran infielder is batting .276 with four runs scored, three RBI and two home runs. On the campaign, he's slashing .249/.321/.475 with 64 RBI, 61 runs scored, 24 long balls and a 26.5 percent strikeout rate in 499 plate appearances.

The Dodgers recalled Halvorsen from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday.

Acquired from the Rockies in a trade last month, Halvorsen logged 6.1 scoreless innings with an 8:2 K:BB with Oklahoma City to earn a promotion. He holds a 4.91 ERA and 53:36 K:BB over 58.2 frames in the majors across the last two seasons, but Halvorsen has a big arm and the Dodgers will aim to coax more consistency out of him.

Atlanta manager Walt Weiss said Monday that Waldrep (arm) will begin a throwing program this week, Barrett Sallee of 680 The Fan Atlanta reports.

Waldrep was placed on the 7-day injured list July 21 due to what Atlanta referred to as right arm discomfort. The organization hasn't provided many details regarding Waldrep's injury since he was shut down, but the right-hander has now been given the green light to begin what could be a lengthy ramp-up process. According to Sallee, Weiss provided no guarantees that Waldrep will be available to pitch again this season, as Atlanta will see how he progresses through his throwing program before a potential return date is mapped out. Waldrep may not have enough time to get fully stretched back out as a starter, but a late-season return as a reliever would at least inspire some confidence about his health heading into 2027.

Atlanta manager Walt Weiss said Monday that Strider (elbow) will begin a throwing progression this week, Chad Bishop of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Mark Bowman of MLB.com previously reported Aug. 1 that Strider's locker at Truist Park was recently cleared out, which appeared to signal that Atlanta wasn't counting on the right-hander pitching again in 2026. However, with Strider having now been given the green light to start playing light catch, he now looks to have a chance at making it back on the mound before the end of the season. Strider, who has been on the shelf since June 13 due to right elbow inflammation, can't afford a setback during his throwing progression, as any hiccups would likely close the door on a return from the 60-day injured list. Given the time that he's missed, the 27-year-old will be in store for an extended buildup, and it's not a given that he'll be stretched out enough to handle a traditional starting role if/when he returns. Strider could still provide value to Atlanta as an opener or multi-inning weapon out of the bullpen down the stretch.

Robert is not in the lineup for Monday's contest in Atlanta.

The Mets have been careful with Robert's workload since he returned from the injured list in late July, as he's started three consecutive games only once. Robert will sit out Monday after starting the previous two days, with A.J. Ewing taking over in center field and Brett Baty getting a start in left field.

Yastrzemski is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

The left-handed-hitting Yastrzemski had been included in the lineup for each of Atlanta's previous three matchups with right-handed starting pitchers, but he'll head to the bench Monday while righty Christian Scott toes the rubber for New York. Yastrzemski will cede his spot in the starting nine to Sean Murphy, who will work behind the plate while Drake Baldwin serves as Atlanta's designated hitter.

The Mets recalled Pintaro from Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

Pintaro has collected a 4.40 ERA and 15:5 K:BB over 14.1 innings in a long-relief role for the Mets this season. He's likely to be used mostly in lower-leverage spots during his upcoming stint with the big club.

The Phillies recalled Shugart from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

He'll rejoin the Philadelphia bullpen as a replacement for Caleb Kilian (oblique), who was placed on the 15-day injured list. Shugart has previously had two stints in the majors this season, posting a collective 4.93 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 45:16 K:BB in 38.1 innings. The right-hander is likely to work in a middle-relief role for Philadelphia.
