Tucker went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and five RBI in Saturday's 12-1 win over the Angels.

Tucker has homered three times over the last two games, which comes just after he was given a break to reset amid a prolonged power slump. The outfielder opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the third inning and followed it up with a three-run blast in the sixth. A hairline fracture in his right hand derailed a promising season in June, but it's now healed, and Tucker is starting to look like a star player once again. He's slashing .262/.373/.465 with 21 homers, 68 RBI, 82 runs scored and 25 stolen bases through 124 contests overall. This is his third 20-20 season, and a 30-30 campaign can't be ruled out if his bat stays hot over the last month-plus of 2025.

Abbott (8-4) took the loss against the Diamondbacks on Saturday, giving up seven runs (six earned) on eight hits while striking out six over four innings.

The left-hander was hit hard from the jump, surrendering four consecutive hits and three runs in the first inning. The outing didn't get better from there as Abbott served up a two-run homer to Lourdes Gurriel in the third and another two-run shot to Geraldo Perdomo an inning later. The rough outing came just six days after Abbott delivered one of his best starts of the season, when he tossed seven scoreless innings against Milwaukee. The 26-year-old still carries an impressive 2.62 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 118:35 K:BB in 134 innings and will look to get back on track in his next scheduled start against St. Louis.

Brown allowed one run on two hits and struck out three without walking a batter over three innings to earn the save in Saturday's 12-1 win over the Angels.

Brown earned the first save of his major-league career, throwing 30 of 44 pitches for strikes in this outing. The right-hander probably won't be in the mix for more traditional save chances, as Daniel Palencia has thrived as the Cubs' closer this year. Brown has made his last three appearances out of the bullpen, though they've been spaced far enough apart that he is still ostensibly on a starter's schedule if he has to make a spot start at some point. Over 22 appearances (15 starts), Brown has a 5.82 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 111:30 K:BB through 102 innings this season.

Horton (8-4) allowed three hits and a walk while striking out seven over six scoreless innings to earn the win over the Angels on Saturday.

Horton was sharp, throwing 55 of 74 pitches for strikes in this 12-1 win. He looked no worse for wear after exiting his last start early due a blister on his right middle finger. This was Horton's fifth scoreless outing in seven starts since the All-Star break -- he's allowed just two runs on 18 hits and 11 walks while racking up 34 strikeouts over 37 innings in that span. For the season, he's at a 2.88 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 77:29 K:BB through 93.2 innings over 18 appearances (17 starts). The 24-year-old's next start is projected to be on the road in Colorado.

McNeil went 2-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Saturday's 9-2 win over Atlanta.

McNeil opened the scoring, belting a three-run shot in the third inning, then extended the Mets lead with another long ball in the ninth, giving him 12 homers on the season and his fourth multi-hit performance in his last seven games. After going 33 games without a home run, McNeil has now gone deep three times in his last three starts. The veteran second baseman is now slashing .261/.351/.462 with 44 RBI, 35 runs scored and two stolen bases through 92 games this year.

Vientos went 3-for-5 with two solo home runs in Saturday's 9-2 win over Atlanta.

The 25-year-old slugger had arguably his best game of the season Saturday, going deep in the seventh and the ninth innings to give him 11 homers and his first three-hit game of the year. Vientos has been swinging a hot bat over his last six games, going 9-for-24 (.375) with four homers and nine RBI in that span. The third baseman is starting to resemble the hitter who tallied 27 home runs across 111 games just a year ago.

Holmes (11-6) earned the win over Atlanta on Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out four over 6.1 innings.

The right-hander retired eight of the first 10 batters he faced before giving up both of his runs in the fourth inning, but he quickly regrouped with back-to-back perfect innings to notch his first quality start since June 7. Holmes leaned on his sinker to generate weak contact and recorded his second straight win, suggesting he may be regaining some momentum after a volatile stretch in July. Over his last six starts, the 32-year-old has produced a 4.08 ERA with a 23:12 K:BB across 28.2 innings, and he'll look to carry Saturday's progress into his next turn against Miami.

Freeland hit a solo home run in his lone at-bat during Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Padres.

Freeland, a switch hitter, has largely been held out of the lineup versus southpaws, and that was true Saturday against San Diego lefty Nestor Cortes. Freeland ended up providing the Dodgers' lone run -- and second and final hit -- when he went yard off Jeremiah Estrada as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning. This was Freeland's second homer in as many days and his fifth extra-base hits over his last six contests. The young infielder is batting .241 with a .776 OPS, six RBI, 10 runs scored and a stolen base through 70 plate appearances.

Glasnow (1-2) allowed three runs on two hits and four walks while striking out three over four innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Padres.

Glasnow threw just 47 of 83 pitches for strikes in his worst start of August. It's just the third time in 13 starts this year he's given up four or more runs, but he has walked at least four batters in three of his last five outings. For the season, Glasnow has a 3.36 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 75:32 K:BB through 61.2 innings. The control issues are a modest concern, but he's largely been able to work through them this year. He's lined up for a home start versus the Diamondbacks next weekend.

Tatis went 0-for-2 with two walks, one stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Dodgers.

Tatis' power drought is nearing a month -- he's now gone 26 games without a homer. He's batting .263 (26-for-99) in that span, adding 11 doubles, nine RBI, 21 runs scored and four steals. That batting average is close to his mark for the full season (.266), and he's also sporting an .805 OPS this year, which has remained fairly steady despite the recent lack of power. Tatis has also racked up 26 steals, 52 RBI, 90 runs scored, 25 doubles and two triples through 127 contests as the Padres' primary leadoff hitter.
