Glasnow (shoulder) will make his second rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Glasnow took the mound this past Sunday for the first time since April 27, tossing two scoreless innings and walking three batters while striking out one and allowing no hits in his first rehab outing with Oklahoma City. He'll make a second start Friday and will have his right shoulder re-evaluated once he finishes his third rehab start next week.

Hicks is not in Miami's starting lineup against Arizona on Friday.

Hicks will be out of the Marlins' lineup for a second consecutive game while Kyle Stowers serves as the designated hitter and bats fifth. Hicks has slashed .289/.396/.378 with four doubles and four RBI in 53 plate appearances since the beginning of June.

Myers is not in the Marlins' starting lineup against the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Myers will begin Friday's game on the bench while Javier Sanoja draws the start in center field and bats ninth. Myers has gone 5-for-31 (.161) with one double and two RBI across his last eight starts.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Friday that Lawlar is dealing with a Grade 1 hamstring strain and will be out for "weeks," Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Lawlar suffered the injury while playing for Triple-A Reno, and he will miss extended time. A previous report indicated Lawlar would be out for at least a month, and Lovullo's words seem to back up that assessment.

Busch is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Astros.

Busch will cede to Justin Turner against left-hander Brandon Walter. In his last nine games, Busch is 12-for-34 (.353) with a pair of home runs.

Woodruff (elbow/ankle/shoulder) will resume his rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Sunday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Woodruff tossed a 60-pitch sim game Monday and has been given the green light to resume his rehab assignment, which was paused on two separate occasions due to ankle tendinitis and more recently, a right elbow contusion. The veteran right-hander has not pitched in a major-league game since undergoing shoulder surgery in October 2023, but if all goes well Sunday, he could return from the 60-day injured list and slot into the Milwaukee rotation next weekend against the Marlins.

Goodman isn't part of the lineup for Friday's game against Milwaukee.

The Rockies will turn to Braxton Fulford behind the dish for a second consecutive game, keeping Goodman on the bench. Goodman hasn't been held out of the starting lineup in back-to-back games since mid-May.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol told reporters Friday that Walker (abdomen) could begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis as soon as Saturday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Walker landed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday due to appendicitis. He was able to avoid surgery after being treated with antibiotics and could be reinstated from the IL when eligible next Wednesday, per Denton. Walker has gone 3-for-18 with three runs scored since returning from a left wrist injury in mid-June.

Suarez (hand) is starting at third base and batting fifth against the Marlins on Friday.

Suarez was hit on his right hand by a pitch against the White Sox on Monday, which caused him to miss the last two games of the series. He participated in light batting practice Wednesday, and he has since been cleared to return to the lineup for Friday's series opener. Suarez has slashed .307/.354/.760 with 10 home runs and 25 RBI in 82 plate appearances since the beginning of June.

Torrens is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Pirates.

Torrens was expected to take over starting catcher duties after Francisco Alvarez was sent down to Triple-A Syracuse. Torrens made three straight starts after the move, but it's been Hayden Senger behind the dish in two of the Mets' last three contests. Torrens is 4-for-45 (.089) with 11 strikeouts in June.
