Mauricio went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday in a loss to the Rays.

Mauricio struck out in two of his four plate appearances, but he made the most of his lone hit by taking Drew Rasmussen deep to right field in the fifth inning. It was the second long ball and second RBI of the campaign for the young infielder, who has gone 1-for-13 at the plate over his past four games. Mauricio is batting just .188 through 36 plate appearances, but he's getting consistent playing time and has started seven of the Mets' past eight contests.

Megill (5-5) took the loss against Tampa Bay on Saturday, allowing six runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out five batters over 3.2 innings.

Megill's final line wasn't disastrous for fantasy managers who started him since half of the six runs he allowed were unearned due to his own fielding error, but this was nonetheless an uninspiring outing by the right-hander. He actually held a 2-1 lead after three frames, but things fell apart for Megill in the fourth. In that inning, he served up a leadoff homer to Junior Caminero, then gave up three more hits, issued two walks, hit a batter and uncorked a wild pitch before being pulled with two outs and the bases loaded. Perhaps the only positive from Megill's performance is that he managed to notch five punchouts despite the short outing, reaching that mark for the ninth time over his past 10 games. Megill has posted an excellent 11.7 K/9 on the campaign, but his 3.95 ERA and 1.36 WHIP are less impressive.

Schmitt went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's 11-5 loss to the Dodgers.

They all count the same in the box score, but Schmitt's slam Saturday was off position player Enrique Hernandez in the ninth inning. It took Schmitt 154 major-league games to get his first career grand slam, which he hit Friday before repeating the feat Saturday. He's up to three homers, 14 RBI, six runs scored, three doubles and no stolen bases while slashing .232/.329/.406 over 80 plate appearances. All three of his homers have been over his last five games as he's taken on an increased role with Matt Chapman (hand) on the IL.

Roupp (4-5) allowed six runs on four hits and five walks while failing to record a strikeout over 1.2 innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Dodgers.

The five walks were a season high for Roupp, who endured his shortest outing of 2025. He needed 45 pitches (21 strikes) to get five outs Saturday. Roupp has largely done well against light-hitting offenses while struggling versus better teams, and that trend continued wtih his perfoemance in Los Angeles. He's posted a serviceable 3.99 ERA, but his 1.46 WHIP and 63:29 K:BB through 70 innings over 14 starts are more troublesome. Roupp's next start is projected to be at home versus the Red Sox.

Rojas hit a solo home run in his lone at-bat in Saturday's 11-5 win over the Giants.

Rojas continues to primarily feature off the bench, giving him little opportunity to make an impact. He hasn't done much with those chances either, going 9-for-50 (.180) over 25 games since the start of May, though two of his hits in that span have been his two homers this year. The infielder is batting .223 with a .574 OPS, six RBI and nine runs scored over 99 plate appearances, and there's little chance he escapes a reserve role unless injuries arise.

Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in Saturday's 11-5 win over the Giants.

Hernandez has homered in three straight games, bringing his total for the year up to 13. His sixth-inning blast Saturday stretched the Dodgers' lead to 10-0. The outfielder's return to power and consistency at the plate has him at a .267/.300/.516 slash line with 50 RBI, 36 runs scored and five stolen bases over 56 contests after a brief slump in early June.

Ohtani went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs, two walks and three total runs scored in Saturday's 11-5 win over the Giants.

Ohtani was off to a bit of a quiet start in June, going just 11-for-48 (.229) with four extra-base hits and a 4:14 BB:K over his first 12 games of the month. He got things back on track with a big performance Saturday, which included a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first inning as well as a second solo shot in the sixth. Ohtani leads the National League with 25 homers and is one behind Aaron Judge and Cal Raleigh for the major-league lead. Ohtani has added a .290/.385/.638 slash line, 41 RBI, 71 runs scored, 11 stolen bases, 11 doubles and five triples across 69 contests.

Kershaw (2-0) allowed three hits and a walk while striking out five over seven scoreless innings to earn the win over the Giants on Saturday.

Kershaw was ultra-efficient, needing just 81 pitches (56 strikes) in this outing to deliver his longest outing of the season. He's allowed one run or less in three of his last four starts, and while the strikeout totals aren't all that high, the southpaw is still finding ways to get outs. He's now at a 3.25 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 20:10 K:BB through 27.2 innings over six starts this season. Kershaw is tentatively lined up to make his next start at home versus the Nationals, though the Dodgers' pitching plans over the next week could be altered depending on when Emmet Sheehan (elbow) is activated for his season debut.

Sheets went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Sheets has hit safely in five straight games, going 7-for-18 (.389) in that span. The homer was his first since May 28 versus the Marlins. The 29-year-old is up to 12 long balls on the season, which is already the second-highest mark in his five-year career. He's added a .261/.318/.477 slash line with 40 RBI, 25 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple and one stolen base across 66 games.

Suarez (1-2) allowed five runs on five hits and struck out one over one-third of an inning to take the loss Saturday versus the Diamondbacks.

Suarez was called upon to protect a four-run lead in the ninth inning, but he couldn't get the job done. He gave up three straight singles, then struck out Corbin Carroll before giving up an RBI single to Ketel Marte and a game-tying three-run triple to Geraldo Perdomo. Adrian Morejon allowed an inherited runner to score, and that was charged to Suarez, sending him to his first loss since his other five-run implosion of the year back on May 12 versus the Angels. Those account for two of the four appearances in which Suarez has been scored on this season. This outing inflated his ERA from 1.78 to 3.23. but he still has a sparkling 0.88 WHIP and 33:8 K:BB across 30.2 innings. He also has 21 saves in 23 chances, and as long as this kind of performance doesn't become more regular, Suarez's status as the Padres' closer is safe.
