The 31-year-old right-hander was coming off an excellent spring, during which he fired 10 shutout frames, but he stumbled in a stiff challenge Saturday against a fearsome Yankees lineup. Shoulder issues plagued Mahle last season with the Rangers, but he was outstanding when healthy with a 2.18 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 16 regular-season starts. That said, his streaming appeal might be a bit limited in a tough matchup against the Mets in his next scheduled start.

Patrick did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 6-1 win over the White Sox, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with four strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Patrick was handed an early lead and allowed just one run on a solo homer in the fourth, but he was lifted too soon to qualify for the win. The 27-year-old threw 48 of 74 pitches for strikes while generating 10 whiffs, building on a solid 2025 regular season in which he posted a 3.53 ERA and 1.28 WHIP over 119.2 innings. He's lined up for a road start against the Royals next weekend.

Smith went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Royals.

Smith played the role of hero Saturday, crushing a walk-off grand slam in his team debut to punctuate Atlanta's six-run comeback in the ninth inning. With Sean Murphy (hip) on the injured list to begin the year and Jurickson Profar suspended for the entire season, the left-handed-hitting Smith has a clear pathway to at-bats at designated hitter versus right-handed pitching for the time being.

Robert went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 4-2 extra-innings win over the Pirates.

With the Mets trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the 11th, Robert delivered a walk-off, three-run blast off Hunter Barco. After being traded form the White Sox to the Mets in January, the 28-year-old is off to a hot start with his new club, collecting three hits and driving in five runs through two games. While durability has been a concern throughout his career, Robert is certainly capable of a bounce-back campaign hitting in the middle of a potentially potent Mets lineup.

Keller did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-2 extra-innings loss to the Mets, allowing three hits and no walks with three strikeouts over six scoreless innings.

Keller was extremely efficient, needing just 77 pitches to blank the Mets over six innings. It was an encouraging outing for the 29-year-old, who has logged 175-plus frames in each of his past three seasons. He lines up for a home matchup against the Orioles next weekend.

Peterson did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-2 extra-innings win over the Pirates, allowing six hits and two walks with three strikeouts over 5.1 scoreless innings.

Peterson threw 51 of 76 pitches for strikes while generating eight whiffs, exiting two outs shy of a quality start. The southpaw earned an All-Star nod in 2025 before stumbling to a 6.34 ERA over 59.2 innings in the second half. He's coming off a career-high 168.2 innings overall and should benefit from backing by a strong Mets offense. The 30-year-old lines up for a road start against the Giants next week.

Lopez took a no-decision Saturday against the Royals, allowing one run on three hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out three.

Lopez might not have been overly dominant in his season debut, but he kept the Royals quiet until Salvador Perez opened the scoring with a seventh-inning solo shot. It was particularly encouraging to see the right-hander get his fastball velocity as high as 97 mph, considering he was rarely breaking 90 mph this spring after missing most of 2025 due to shoulder surgery. Lopez tossed 77 pitches Saturday, and he'll be trying to further build himself up during his next scheduled outing in Arizona.

Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rockies.

Ramirez reached base in three straight plate appearances after grounding out in the first inning, picking up his first steal of the season in the third. The sophomore catcher served as the designated hitter Saturday, suggesting he should see near-everyday run moving forward. After tallying 21 home runs and 16 stolen bases across 136 games as a rookie, the 24-year-old offers 20-20 potential at the catcher position in 2026.

Rumfield went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Marlins.

Rumfield opened the scoring with a 423-foot blast off Eury Perez in the second inning. The rookie has now recorded a hit in each of his first two major-league games after slashing an impressive .286/.359/.554 over 64 plate appearances this spring. He offers some sleeper appeal with Coors Field as his home venue.

Lorenzen did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Marlins, allowing three runs on seven hits and no walks with four strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Lorenzen entered the fifth inning with a two-run lead but couldn't get out of the frame, exiting at 93 pitches after giving up a two-run homer to Liam Hicks. The 33-year-old signed a one-year, $8 million deal in January and should hold a secure spot in the rotation on a lowly Rockies club. He lines up for a tough home matchup against the Phillies next weekend.
