Luis Garcia 1B | NYY
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Out Wednesday versus left-hander
Garcia is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Toronto.
Southpaw Easton Lucas is on the hill for the Blue Jays, so Garcia will grab a seat in favor of Amed Rosario, who will start at second base and bat second. Garcia has been out of the lineup both times the Nationals have faced a lefty in the early going this season.

Miguel Amaya C | CHC
Cubs' Miguel Amaya: Absent from Wednesday's lineup
Amaya is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Athletics.
He'll sit in favor of Carson Kelly, who is getting his second start in the series after hitting for the cycle Monday. It's been a fairly even split between Amaya and Kelly so far this season in terms of playing time, with Amaya drawing five starts to Kelly's four.

Jose Siri LF | LAA
Mets' Jose Siri: Heading to bench Wednesday
Siri is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.
Though he'll give way to Tyrone Taylor in center field for the series finale, Siri seems to be the Mets' preferred option at the position for the time being. Siri had started in each of the previous three games, all of which came while the Mets faced right-handed pitchers.

Luis Torrens C | NYM
Mets' Luis Torrens: Resting Wednesday
Torrens is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.
Torrens will get his first day off of the season after he started behind the plate in each of the Mets' first five games while going 4-for-14 with a home run, two doubles, one walk and two RBI. Hayden Senger will form a battery with starting pitcher Clay Holmes on Wednesday, but Torrens should see the bulk of the starts at catcher until Francisco Alvarez (hand) is ready to return from the injured list.

Aaron Ashby RP | MIL
Brewers' Aaron Ashby: Should resume mound work April 11
Ashby (oblique) is continuing to build up during his throwing program and should be ready to throw a bullpen session April 11, MLB.com reports.
Ashby entered spring training with a chance to compete for a spot in the Opening Day rotation, but he never gained much momentum after tweaking his right oblique in his third Cactus League appearance March 3. He was shut down for a couple weeks before resuming his throwing program late in camp, and he seems to be gradually increasing his throwing distance off flat ground. Ashby is one six starters on the 40-man roster who currently resides on the injured list, but Jose Quintana should be ready to make his season debut next week, and Tobias Myers (oblique), Aaron Civale (hamstring) and Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) all appear likely to beat Ashby back from the IL. With that in mind, Ashby could be ticketed for the bullpen or the Triple-A Nashville rotation once he's back to full health.

DL Hall RP | MIL
Brewers' DL Hall: On track for April 15 side session
Hall (lat) is tentatively scheduled to throw a bullpen session April 15, MLB.com reports.
Hall has been throwing on flat ground at the Brewers' spring training complex in Arizona and will be ready for mound work in mid-April if he continues to progress. He's slated for bullpen sessions April 15 and 18 before advancing to throwing live batting practice April 23. Hall is on the 60-day injured list as he comes back from a left lat strain and isn't eligible for activation until late May.

Tobias Myers RP | NYM
Brewers' Tobias Myers: Penciled in for April 8 rehab start
Myers (oblique) is tentatively scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on April 8, MLB.com reports.
He will need to get through a session against live hitters Thursday first, but if he does, Myers will make rehab starts with Nashville on April 8, April 13 and April 18. That would set him up for a season debut as soon as April 23 in San Francisco, if all goes well. Myers is coming back from a left oblique strain.
-
Aaron Civale RP | CHC
Brewers' Aaron Civale: Slated for bullpen session Saturday
Civale (hamstring) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Saturday, MLB.com reports.
If that goes well, he will throw off the mound again April 8. It seems likely that the Brewers will want Civale to make at least one rehab start, and the team is tentatively projecting a return in late April for the veteran right-hander.

Brandon Woodruff SP | MIL
Brewers' Brandon Woodruff: Throws 51-pitch simulated game
Woodruff (shoulder) threw 51 pitches over a three-inning simulated game Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
He will throw another simulated game, and if that goes well, Woodruff will be cleared to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville. The Brewers hope Woodruff will be ready to rejoin their rotation sometime in May, but it seems to be a loose timetable and will depend on how he looks and feels on his rehab assignment. The veteran righty is working his way back from capsule surgery on his pitching shoulder.
