Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Knocks sixth homer
Stott went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-1 loss to the Dodgers.
Stott's ninth-inning blast kept the Phillies from getting shut out in this contest. The second baseman entered the game 0-for-17 over his last five contests, with just one walk and two strikeouts in that span. He's batting just .217 with a .644 OPS, six homers, 26 RBI, 16 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples and 10 stolen bases over 53 games this season, though he remains in a near-everyday role.

Andrew Painter SP | PHI
Phillies' Andrew Painter: Stumbles against Dodgers
Painter (1-6) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over 3.1 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Dodgers.
Painter was tagged for solo home runs by Ryan Ward and Alex Freeland in the fourth inning, which was enough to end his outing. Painter had allowed just five runs over 17.1 innings across his previous three starts combined, though that still wasn't good enough for him to collect his second win of the year. He's now lost two games in a row and is at a 5.74 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 43:17 K:BB through 53.1 innings over 11 outings (10 starts). The rookie right-hander's next start is projected to come at home versus the White Sox.

Ryan Ward 1B | LAD
Dodgers' Ryan Ward: Hits first big-league homer
Ward went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Phillies.
Ward went deep in the fourth inning off Andrew Painter for his first big-league homer in three games. This was Ward's first time in the lineup since he was called up Thursday to replace Teoscar Hernandez (hamstring) on the 26-man roster. Ward could end up pushing Alex Call for at-bats versus right-handed pitchers, though it's unclear if Ward will be given the chance to carve out a true platoon role. He has gone 3-for-8 with two RBI and two strikeouts so far this season.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Adds homer in win
Muncy went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Phillies.
Muncy had gone 10 games without a multi-hit effort, going just 4-for-29 (.138) in that span, which also saw him miss some time due to a wrist injury. The third baseman tacked on the Dodgers' eighth run Sunday with a solo shot in the seventh inning. Muncy is batting .257 with an .887 OPS, 14 homers, 21 RBI, 39 runs scored, six doubles and no stolen bases over 53 contests this season. Injuries have kept him from reaching the 20-homer mark in the previous two regular seasons after he reached that threshold in five of the previous six years. As long as his health holds up in 2026, he's well on his way to getting back to that mark or better.

Brenton Doyle CF | COL
Rockies' Brenton Doyle: Limited to pool workouts
The Rockies announced Friday that Doyle (oblique) has been able to take part in some pool exercises since landing on the 10-day injured list May 21, MLB.com reports.
Doyle is working his way back from a left oblique contusion, and though the discomfort he had been experiencing seems to have dissipated a bit in recent days, he's not yet been cleared to resume baseball activities. With Doyle's stay on the IL likely to extend through at least the upcoming week, Jake McCarthy should be in store for regular run in center field against both righties and lefties after previously being limited to the strong side of a platoon.

Alex Freeland 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Alex Freeland: Clubs third homer
Freeland went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Phillies.
Freeland has started three of the Dodgers' last four games and appears to be the preferred strong-side platoon option at second base for now. The infielder had gone hitless in his first two games during this call-up, but Sunday's performance was his sixth multi-hit effort in 36 games this season. He's batting .236 with a .679 OPS, three homers, 10 RBI, 13 runs scored, five doubles and no stolen bases over 121 plate appearances on the year.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto SP | LAD
Dodgers' Yoshinobu Yamamoto: Strikes out 10 in win
Yamamoto (5-4) allowed four hits, two walks and a hit batsman while striking out 10 over 5.1 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Phillies on Sunday.
Yamamoto's pitch count got up quickly, as he exited with 104 pitches (69 strikes). The 10 strikeouts were a season high, and this was the first time he's kept a scoreless line in 11 starts this season. He ends May in dominant form with just two runs allowed over his last 19.1 innings. For the season, he has a 2.86 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 69:15 K:BB through 69.1 innings. Yamamoto is projected to make his next start at home in a favorable matchup against the Angels.

Mickey Moniak LF | COL
Rockies' Mickey Moniak: Return date unclear
Moniak has been limited to rest and recovery since landing on the 10-day injured list May 22 due to right ankle tendinitis, MLB.com reports.
Though a recent MRI revealed no issues with Moniak's ankle beyond tendinitis, the outfielder looks like he'll have to wait a bit for the discomfort to subside before he resumes baseball activities. Moniak's recent move to the IL appears to have opened up a full-time role in the outfield for Tyler Freeman, who has started in 10 of the Rockies' last 11 games.

Victor Vodnik RP | COL
Rockies' Victor Vodnik: Completes side session
Vodnik (elbow) tossed a bullpen session Saturday, MLB.com reports.
Vodnik hit 95 mph with his fastball during the workout, putting him a few ticks behind his season-long average of 98.8 mph. Even so, the side session represents an important step forward in the recovery process for Vodnik, who was placed on the 15-day injured list May 20 due to right ulnar nerve inflammation. He's slated to throw another side session early during the upcoming week before advancing to facing hitters by the weekend.

Joel Peguero RP | SF
Giants' Joel Peguero: Dealing with hamstring injury
Peguero suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday's 19-6 win over the Rockies, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Peguero pitched one-third of an inning before sustaining the injury in the bottom of the eighth. The right-hander missed the entire first month of the season while recovering from a Grade 2 hamstring strain that he suffered during spring training, and he could be headed for another stint on the injured list.
