Through seven starts for High-A Fort Wayne this season, Mayfield has posted a 1.52 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 35:13 K:BB over 29.2 innings.

Mayfield was a first-round pick by San Diego in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft and registered a solid 3.12 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 88:28 K:BB in Single-A ball during his first pro season. The southpaw has built upon that success with an even more impressive start to his High-A tenure, and he's been especially dominant over his past two outings, allowing just two hits while posting a 12:1 K:BB across 10 scoreless innings. If Mayfield continues to pitch well, he could be promoted to Double-A at some point this season.

Sheets went 3-for-3 with two homers, a double, two walks and four total RBI in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Mariners.

Sheets' torrid stretch at the plate reached another level Sunday, as he slugged a pair of monstrous homers off starter George Kirby before adding an RBI double in the seventh inning. "Hot" likely undersells how well Sheets has been swinging the bat of late, as the 30-year-old is 10-for-19 (.526) over his past seven games with four homers, eight RBI, six runs and a stolen base during that stretch. On the season, the big lefty is slashing .262/.340/.556 with nine homers, 10 doubles, 21 RBI, 19 runs and three stolen bases across 141 plate appearances.

Castro went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double Sunday against the Diamondbacks.

Castro doubled in a run in the fourth inning and picked up his second RBI of the game four frames later on a sacrifice fly. He snapped out of a five-game hitless streak Saturday and now has three hits across 10 at-bats with two RBI and two runs scored in three contests to begin Colorado's current homestand. Castro is hitting only .236 for the season, though he does have 20 runs scored and 15 RBI in his 38 contests.

Marquez (forearm) has begun a throwing program, per MLB.com.

Marquez has been on the shelf since getting roughed up in a start versus the White Sox on May 1. He was subsequently diagnosed with right forearm nerve irritation and landed on the 15-day IL. Marquez's ability to begin throwing suggests that he's showing improvement, though he's not expected to return to the Padres until at least June.

Campusano (toe) has begun taking part in baseball activities, though he's not yet pain-free and isn't close to a return, per MLB.com.

Campusano is dealing with a fractured left toe as the result of a ball he fouled off his foot May 5. Though the fracture has been deemed "small," Campusano is still dealing with some pain, so he isn't ready to resume playing in games. Freddy Fermin and Rodolfo Duran are San Diego's big-league catchers in Campusano's absence.

Giolito (1-0) earned the win Sunday, allowing three runs on a hit and three walks over five-plus innings against the Mariners. He struck out three.

Giolito managed to deliver five scoreless innings before running out of gas in the sixth frame, walking the bases loaded before giving way to Yuki Matsui, who allowed all three inherited runners to score. While the rough ending put a bit of a damper on the outing, Sunday can still be viewed as a successful and encouraging Padres debut for Giolito, especially for a club sorely in need of quality arms to stabilize the rotation. The veteran right-hander is tentatively scheduled to make his home debut Saturday against the Athletics.

Ohtani went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 10-1 win over the Angels.

Ohtani capped off an incredibly productive weekend against his former club with a trio of singles, including a two-run knock to start the scoring in the Dodgers' five-run fourth inning. After posting an OPS north of 1.000 in each of the previous three seasons, the two-way superstar hasn't gotten off to an otherworldly start at the plate in 2026, though he has still been plenty effective. Through 201 plate appearances, Ohtani is slashing .258/.385/.454 with seven homers, nine doubles, a triple, 24 RBI, 30 runs and six stolen bases.

Rolison (3-1) blew the save and took the loss Sunday against the White Sox, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit over one-third of an inning.

Rolison entered in the 10th inning and was tasked with protecting a one-run lead in the first save opportunity of his career, but things unraveled quickly. After Andrew Benintendi successfully bunted the automatic runner to third base, Edgar Quero ended the game with a two-run walk-off homer. Rolison has now allowed runs in three of his last five appearances, pushing his season line to a 4.38 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and a 13:6 K:BB across 12.1 innings.

Pages went 1-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 10-1 win over the Angels.

Pages did his part in the Dodgers' five-run fifth inning, rocketing a single into left-center field to plate a pair of runs. The knock gave the 25-year-old 41 RBI on the season, moving him ahead of Liam Hicks for sole possession of the MLB lead in the category. By all accounts, it has been a fantastic 2026 campaign for Pages, who's slashing .301/.353/.520 with 10 homers, eight doubles, 27 runs and six stolen bases across 47 games.

Tucker went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-1 win over the Angels.

After getting the day off Saturday, Tucker was a major contributor Sunday, leading the Dodgers with three RBI in a blowout victory. The right fielder's early-season numbers haven't quite lived up to the lofty standards that came with the four-year, $240 million contract he signed during the offseason, though the 29-year-old has been heating up with a .910 OPS over his past 15 games. Overall, Tucker is slashing .259/.356/.410 with four homers, 13 doubles, 23 RBI, 32 runs and three stolen bases across 45 contests.
