Yamamoto (9-5) allowed three hits and two walks while striking out 10 over seven shutout innings to earn the win over the Padres on Saturday.

This was Yamamoto's second scoreless outing of the season. He's also logged five straight quality starts since the beginning of June, giving up just seven runs over 35.1 innings in that span. The right-hander is now at a 2.49 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 100:21 K:BB through 104.2 innings over 16 starts this season. Yamamoto is lined up for a fairly favorable matchup at home versus the Diamondbacks next weekend.

Canning (1-6) allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out four over four innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Saturday.

Canning did fine in this bulk-relief outing, which shielded him from facing the top half of the Dodgers' order an extra time. He still came away with the loss as the Padres' bats came up cold. The right-hander has allowed eight runs over 13.1 innings with an 11:8 K:BB over his last four games. Overall, he has a 6.71 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 50:30 K:BB through 51 innings over 12 appearances (nine starts) this season. Canning looks like he'll still be a rotation option next week, as Randy Vasquez (ankle) is out at least through the All-Star break. Canning's next appearance is projected to be at home versus the Diamondbacks, though it's not yet clear if that will be a traditional start or another outing following an opener.

Carrigg went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run in a loss to the Giants on Saturday.

San Francisco bolted out of the gate with a four-run first inning, but Carrigg quickly gave the Rockies life with a three-run homer to left field in the bottom of that frame. The rookie outfielder added an infield single in the ninth. Carrigg has been red hot of late, batting .409 (9-for-22) with a double, two triples, one homer, eight RBI, seven runs and a stolen base over his past seven games. He's quickly established himself as a promising part of Colorado's future by slashing .293/.378/.573 with four home runs, 19 RBI, 18 runs and a pair of steals over his first 23 big-league contests.

Hicks went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Athletics.

Hicks has come back hot after a minimum stay on the injured list due to a back issue. He's gone 9-for-23 (.391) since his return while making starts at catcher (one), first base (two) and designated hitter (two) in that span. He's had a consistent enough bat to be a near-everyday presence in the lineup for the Marlins. Hicks is hitting .288 with an .830 OPS, 13 home runs, 54 RBI, 48 runs scored, seven doubles, one triple and a stolen base over 78 contests. He continues to primarily bat out of the leadoff spot versus right-handed pitchers.

Mack went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Athletics on Saturday.

Mack went yard in the third inning to open the scoring. The catcher has seven homers on the year, including three over his last five games. For the season, he's batting .255 with a .754 OPS, 23 RBI, 23 runs scored, five doubles and no stolen bases over 155 plate appearances. Mack continues to share the catching duties with Liam Hicks and Brian Navarreto, with Mack getting about half of the time behind the dish.

Lopez went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and a third RBI in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Athletics.

This was Lopez's eighth multi-hit effort in his last 11 games. In that span, he has gone 19-for-48 (.396) with three homers, four doubles, two triples and seven RBI. The shortstop's recent consistency at the plate has him up to a .341 average and .877 OPS on the year, and he's added eight homers, 40 RBI, 57 runs scored, 24 doubles and five triples through 88 contests. Lopez's strong performance resulted in him being named to the National League All-Star team.

Eldridge went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and an additional RBI in a 6-4 win over Colorado on Saturday.

Eldridge doubled home a run in the first inning and added a 458-foot solo homer in the third. The long ball was his first in 13 games, a stretch during which he's batted just .188 with three RBI. That's taken some steam out of Eldridge's strong start to the season, but he's still slashing .280/.368/.484 with seven homers and 19 RBI over 46 contests while playing nearly every day.

Stowers went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Athletics.

Stowers has homered three times over the last two games and has hit safely in 11 of his last 13 contests, going 18-for-52 (.346) in that latter span with four homers, 12 RBI, four doubles and two triples. His power took some time to show up this season, but he's gotten himself on track in recent weeks. He's now batting .247 with an .805 OPS, 11 homers, 39 RBI, 35 runs scored, one stolen base, 16 doubles and three triples over 66 contests.

Sullivan (0-3) took the loss against San Francisco on Saturday, allowing six runs on 12 hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 5.2 innings.

Sullivan was brought up from Triple-A on Saturday to make the start after Tomoyuki Sugano landed on the IL due to back spasms. Sullivan had posted an 8.64 ERA across four starts prior to being recalled, and that number got even worse after Saturday's outing. The left-hander was knocked around for a career-worst 12 hits, eight of which (seven doubles and a home run) went for extra bases. Sullivan has given up five or more runs in over half of his starts so far and has yet to notch an MLB victory. Still, he could make at least one more start in place of Sugano given Colorado's lack of other rotation options.

Alcantara (10-4) allowed one run on six hits, a walk and a hit batsman while striking out eight over eight innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Saturday.

Alcantara was in workhorse mode, throwing 70 of 100 pitches for strikes. This was his fourth start of at least eight innings this season. He's been superb lately, winning seven straight starts while allowing 18 runs (16 earned) over his last 48.1 innings. Alcantara is at a 4.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 92:33 K:BB through 123.2 innings over 19 starts this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Guardians.
