Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 14-1 loss to the Nationals.

Garcia went deep in the third inning, but that was all the scoring the Diamondbacks could muster. He has seen limited playing time since he was called up from Triple-A Reno on May 19, going 2-for-14 over four games during this stint in the big leagues. He's batting .176 with one homer, two RBI and two runs scored over 17 plate appearances in the majors this season.

Kelly (5-4) allowed seven runs on six hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out four over five innings to take the loss versus the Nationals on Friday.

Kelly had a strong May, but his first start in June was a dud. He allowed three home runs, which accounted for four of the seven runs on his line in his first loss since May 3 versus the Cubs. Kelly is now at a 5.71 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 37:25 K:BB through 58.1 innings over 10 starts this season. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Marlins.

Lile went 3-for-6 with a solo home run, a second RBI, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Friday's 14-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Lile has gone 6-for-17 over the first four games of June. His homer Friday ended a stretch of nine contests without an extra-base hit, in which he went 5-for-34 (.147) with two RBI. While the bat hasn't been all that consistent, Lile is gaining playing time in left field, pushing Dylan Crews and Jacob Young to compete for one spot in the lineup most of the time. Lile is batting .256 with a .725 OPS, eight homers, 30 RBI, 38 runs scored, five steals, 15 doubles and one triple through 63 games this year.

Abrams went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two walks and two total runs scored in Friday's 14-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Abrams had gone six games without an RBI prior to Friday, though he hit safely in four of them. The shortstop has gone 11-for-36 (.306) with four extra-base hits and two stolen bases over his last 10 contests. For the season, he's batting .291 with a .922 OPS, 13 homers, 48 RBI, 40 runs scored, nine steals, 13 doubles and two triples over 63 games.

Wood went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Friday's 14-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Wood has gone 13-for-38 (.342) with four homers over his last 10 contests, though he came into Friday's game hitless over his last two games. The outfielder continues to do it all atop the Nationals' lineup. He's batting .267 with a .944 OPS, 17 homers, 40 RBI, 56 runs scored, 15 doubles and 10 stolen bases through 64 games.

Garcia went 2-for-6 with two home runs and six RBI in Friday's 14-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Garcia led the offense Friday, starting the scoring with a two-run homer in the first inning. He added a grand slam in the sixth for his second multi-homer game of the year. Considering he has just seven long balls this season, Friday's effort was unexpected. The infielder is batting .263 with a .745 OPS, 37 RBI, 23 runs scored, 10 doubles, three triples and two stolen bases over 58 contests. Garcia has done pretty well of late, going 12-for-40 (.300) with four homers and 15 RBI over his last 11 games.

Griffin (7-2) allowed one run on two hits and no walks while striking out four over five innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Griffin's lone mistake ended up being an Aramis Garcia solo shot in the third inning. The long ball has been a problem for Griffin at times, as he's allowed eight of them over his last five starts, a span in which he's given up 18 runs across 25.1 innings. For the season, the southpaw has a serviceable 3.63 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 69:21 K:BB across 72 innings through 13 starts. His next start is slated to be a favorable road matchup in San Francisco.

Ewing went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and a run scored in Friday's 5-0 win over the Padres.

Ewing has gone 11-for-43 (.256) with five steals over his last 11 games. The outfielder's speed is promising as long as he can get on base enough to use it. He's batting .253 with a .659 OPS, seven steals, one home run, six RBI, 11 runs scored, one double and one triple across 90 plate appearances. The one red flag in Ewing's numbers so far is his 32.2 percent strikeout rate, which could limit his effectiveness if the hits stop falling.

Torrens went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a double and a second run scored in Friday's 5-0 win over the Padres.

This was Torrens' second multi-hit effort in a row. The homer was his first long ball of the season, though he's shown a little more promise for power with two doubles among nine hits over his last eight contests. For the season, the catcher is hitting .233 with a .638 OPS, 15 RBI, 13 runs scored, nine doubles and no stolen bases through 113 plate appearances. Torrens' time as the Mets' primary catcher will likely end once Francisco Alvarez (knee) is ready to return -- Alvarez's rehab assignment with Triple-A Syracuse started Tuesday.

Young went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-0 win over the Padres.

Young has three homers this season, and they've all come over his last six games. He also has a trio of multi-hit efforts in that span. The 30-year-old is batting .313 with a .945 OPS, six RBI, eight runs scored, three doubles and no stolen bases across 55 plate appearances. Young should continue to get steady playing time versus right-handed pitchers.
