Vazquez cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

The 26-year-old was designated for assignment Tuesday, but he'll stick in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. Vazquez played 36 games for the Orioles last season and had a .160/.208/.240 slash line in 53 plate appearances.

Maton signed a two-year contract with the Cubs on Friday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Maton's new deal also includes a club option for 2028. The 32-year-old spent time with the Cardinals and Rangers in 2025, finishing the regular season with a 2.79 ERA and 1.06 WHIP along with an 81:23 K:BB across 61.1 innings. Now with the Cubs, he's sure to continue pitching in high-leverage situations and will presumably be in the mix for saves alongside Daniel Palencia.

Rodriguez signed a minor-league contract with the Padres on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training, Britt Ghiroli of The Athletic reports.

Rodriguez spent most of 2025 with Atlanta's Triple-A affiliate, where he slashed .247/.320/.323 with eight homers, 33 RBI, 53 runs scored and 17 steals across 531 plate appearances. The 24-year-old outfielder has yet to make his MLB debut and will likely begin 2026 at Triple-A El Paso.

Rainey was non-tendered by Detroit on Friday.

Rainey spent the 2025 season split between Pittsburgh and Detroit. He was in Triple-A for most of the 2025 season but struggled significantly in a brief sample in the majors.

Mattison was non-tendered by the Tigers on Friday.

Mattison was designated for assignment Tuesday after being selected by the Tigers in the Rule 5 Draft last year. He'll now be a free agent after reaching Triple-A Toledo in 2025.

Little was non-tendered by the Tigers on Friday.

The Tigers claimed Little in early November but then designated him for assignment two weeks later. He'll now officially hit free agency. Little made his very brief MLB debut with the Dodgers in June and July.

Guenther (hip) was non-tendered by the Tigers on Friday.

Guenther was designated for assignment Tuesday and was likely to set become a free agent anyway. He threw only 18.1 innings in 2025 across multiple levels while dealing with a hip injury.

Foley (shoulder) was non-tendered by the Tigers on Friday.

Foley was designated for assignment Tuesday, but he's now officially a free agent. He spent most of the 2025 season sidelined by a shoulder injury.

Darnell (hip) was non-tendered by Detroit on Friday.

The Tigers claimed Darnell off waivers in mid-November, but his time with the club was short-lived. He'll become a free agent as he continues to recover from hip surgery that he underwent in mid-September.

Knizner was non-tendered by the Giants on Friday.

Knizner was designated for assignment Friday and was set to be a free agent if he went unclaimed on waivers. This move was primarily procedural as a result.
