Millsap announced his retirement from basketball Tuesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. The No. 47 overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, Millsap had quite a decorated career. He spent time with the Jazz, Hawks, Nuggets, Nets and 76ers, becoming one of eight players all time with 500 three-pointers, 1,000 blocks and 1,000 steals. He'll finish his NBA career with averages of 13.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals.

Millsap (illness) is not on the injury report for Saturday's Game 1 against the Raptors. As expected, Millsap will be available after missing the final game of the regular season. However, he hasn't played since March 29, and he's essentially out of the rotation.
-
Millsap has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pistons due to a non-COVID illness. Despite being healthy, Millsap hasn't played since March 29, so his absence shouldn't impact the rotation. It's unclear if he'll garner a role for the 76ers during the playoffs.
-
Millsap will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Lakers. With Joel Embiid returning to the lineup after a one-game absence, Millsap will shift back to a reserve role. The veteran is averaging 3.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game this season.
-
Millsap will start Monday's game against the Heat. Joel Embiid (back) is unavailable for Monday's matchup with Miami, so Millsap will make his first start for Philadelphia. Millsap didn't play as a coach's decision the past seven games but will obviously be in the rotation Monday with Embiid out.
