  • There is concern regarding Curry's long-term health due to his right knee, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area & California reports. "There's at least some lingering concern about the knee," Poole said during a recent podcast. "From what I understand, he and his trainers have devised ways to kind of work around that and sort of support that whole possibility of the knee not being as great as he wants it to be." When healthy, the 38-year-old had a productive 2025-26 campaign, averaging 26.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals over 30.9 minutes per contest while playing in 43 regular-season games. However, he missed time mostly due to patellofemoral pain syndrome in his right knee. While the 2009 No. 7 overall pick is still expected to be one of the top contributors in the NBA this season, his knee, along with a contract extension, may be frequent topics of conversation. Curry has appeared in 1,069 regular-season games during his career, averaging 24.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 42.2 percent from deep across 34.0 minutes per game. He is also a two-time MVP, 12-time All-Star and four-time NBA Champion.

  • Curry said Monday that he isn't in a rush to sign a contract extension with the Warriors, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Curry became eligible Saturday for a maximum two-year, $136.7 million extension, but the 38-year-old said he expects contract discussions to happen at the right time and reiterated that he wants to spend the rest of his career with Golden State. He's already under contract for $62.6 million in 2026-27, and the NBA's Over-38 Rule prevents him from signing an extension longer than two additional seasons.

  • Curry tallied 17 points (4-16 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals over 36 minutes during the Warriors' 111-96 loss to the Suns in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament. Curry was the hero of the Warriors' comeback victory against the Clippers on Wednesday, but the two-time MVP couldn't replicate that success Friday, finishing with a minus-13 point differential while connecting on just 25.0 percent of his field-goal attempts. It was a disappointing 2025-26 campaign for Curry, who was limited to just 43 regular-season games due to various injuries, including a knee injury that cost him 27 straight games from early February to early April. He ended the regular season averaging 26.6 points, 4.7 assists (a career low), 3.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 4.4 threes over 30.9 minutes per game. Curry is set to make $62.6 million in 2026-27 in what is currently his final season under contract with Golden State, though it's hard to imagine the two sides not coming to an agreement on an extension during the offseason.

  • Curry supplied 35 points (12-23 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four assists, one rebound and one steal across 36 minutes in Wednesday's 126-121 win over the Clippers in the Play-In Tournament. The Warriors trailed by eight at halftime, but Curry erupted for 16 points in the third quarter and ended with a game-high 35. The superstar point guard was also electric from beyond the arc, draining a game-best seven three-pointers -- one more than the Clippers' entire starting five. Including the regular season, he has knocked down at least seven triples seven times this season. Curry and the Warriors are now set to face the Suns in Phoenix on Friday in another win-or-go-home Play-In Tournament matchup.
