Burks notched two points (1-1 FG) and three rebounds over six minutes during Wednesday's 98-94 victory over the Hornets. Burks played a season-low six minutes in the win, continuing an underwhelming start to the season. To this point, Burks has scored double-digits only twice, while also racking up six DNP-CD's. Despite his offensive skill set, it appears Burks could be on the outside looking in when it comes to regular and consistent minutes.

Burks totaled 15 points (5-9 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Sunday's 123-118 overtime win over the Mavericks. Burks lit it up from deep off the bench in extended time Sunday, leading all Heat players in threes made while pacing the bench in scoring and assists. Burks matched his season high in scoring, a mark he also posted Nov. 2. Burks has now connected on at least a trio of threes in three contests this year.

Burks registered seven points (3-8 FG, 1-6 3Pt), six rebounds and three assists across 19 minutes during Monday's 106-89 win over the 76ers. Miami was shorthanded for this contest, and Burks made the most of the handful of minutes he received. Miami is off until Nov. 24 against Dallas, but it remains to be seen if Terry Rozier (foot) and Jaime Jaquez (ankle) will be ready for that contest.

Burks finished with 15 points (5-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 118-98 victory over Washington. Burks led the Miami bench with 15 points and put together an impressive scoring performance after finishing with nine points over his last two appearances combined. The 33-year-old has been a weapon from downtown in three games this season, drilling eight triples on 11 attempts. Burks' playing time will be worth monitoring going forward, as he can certainly add three-point production for fantasy managers if given consistent opportunities.

Burks (rest) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Magic, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. As expected, Burks is good to go for the regular season after resting during the preseason finale. The veteran guard is expected to serve a depth role behind Terry Rozier and Tyler Herro.
