After suffering a right knee injury in Tuesday's win against the Magic, Nance will miss a considerable amount of time with a non-displaced fracture. The veteran forward's injury will be re-evaluated in six weeks, and it could eventually result in him being ruled out for the season. The 31-year-old is averaging 8.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the Hawks while shooting a career-high 44.7 percent from beyond the arc.

His availability for Wednesday's game against the Knicks looks to be uncertain, potentially paving the way for the Hawks to reintegrate Clint Capela -- who was a healthy inactive Monday -- into the rotation as the backup to Onyeka Okongwu. If Nance is unavailable and if Capela remains inactive Wednesday, Dominick Barlow would presumably step in as Okongwu's primary understudy.

Nance required assistance off the court after checking out of the contest with 8:01 remaining in the fourth quarter. In the likely event that the veteran big man is unable to return, he'll finish the game with eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 19 minutes.
