Davis finished Wednesday's 128-116 win over Milwaukee with 34 points (11-20 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 11-14 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 34 minutes. Davis dominated in his Wizards' regular-season debut, leading his team in rebounding, shot attempts and scoring. At times, he brought the ball up the floor and operated in a point-center role when Trae Young was off the court, so he should see significant usage in head coach Brian Keefe's system. When healthy, Davis is a league-winning fantasy asset.

Davis generated 14 points (6-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks over 27 minutes during Friday's 107-106 preseason loss to the Pelicans. Davis notched his second straight double-double, led Washington in rebounds and tied for the team lead in blocks. Washington acquired the veteran big man from Dallas in an eight-player trade in February. The All-Star's health will again be the key variable when Washington opens the regular season Wednesday against the Bucks.

Davis (rest) will start in Friday's preseason finale against the Pelicans. Davis sat out Monday's preseason loss to the Nets for rest, but he's back and starting for the Wizards' preseason finale. Joining him in the first unit will be Trae Young, Kyshawn George, AJ Dybantsa and Alex Sarr.

Davis (rest) is out for Monday's preseason game against the Nets, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports. Davis logged 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal over 22 minutes during Saturday's 114-108 overtime win over the Pistons, but he'll take a seat Monday as the Wizards monitor his workload. The star big man's next chance to play is Friday against the Pelicans.

Davis logged 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal over 22 minutes during Saturday's 114-108 overtime win over the Pistons. All of Davis' production came in the first half, with the veteran big man observing the entire second half from the bench. He's scored in double digits in limited playing time across his first two preseason games, and Davis will likely continue to operate under a minutes restriction to keep him fresh ahead of the Wizards' regular-season opener against the Bucks on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
