  Gobert recorded 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-6 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists, one steal and four blocks across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 116-110 loss to the Grizzlies. Gobert was limited to just seven points his last time out, but Minnesota did a much better job of keeping him involved in the offense in this one, consistently feeding him in the low post. Gobert has scored in double figures in three of the past four games, and he racked up four blocks Wednesday evening after having accumulated just two in his previous three outings.

  Minnesota head coach Chris Finch said Gobert (personal) will return to action Wednesday against the Grizzlies, according to Wolves Lead. Gobert left Sunday's game against the Kings after 20 minutes for personal reasons, but he'll be back Wednesday with no word of any limitations. Before leaving Sunday's game, he was well on his way to a strong line with seven points (3-4 FG, 1-6 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one block across 20 minutes.

On the month so far, Gobert is averaging 16.8 points, 10.8 boards, 1.8 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.8 steals while shooting an absurd 80.5 percent from the floor -- he's missed only eight of his 41 FG attempts.

  Gobert was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul and ejected in the third quarter of Monday's game against the Suns, Jace Frederick of St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. The veteran center was ejected with 7:59 remaining in the third after elbowing Mark Williams in the ribs while he was airborne. Gobert will finish with 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes. Naz Reid should see the majority of the center minutes the rest of the way, while Joan Beringer could enter the rotation.
