The Trail Blazers waived Graham on Thursday. Despite spending the preseason and training camp with the Trail Blazers, Graham was unable to make the regular-season roster. He will now enter the 2024-25 season as a free agent.

The Trail Blazers signed Graham to a non-guaranteed, one-year deal Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Graham was recently traded to the Hornets from the Spurs, and he was waived before striking a deal with the Blazers in free agency. The 29-year-old appeared in only 23 games for San Antonio last season, during which he averaged 5.0 points, 2.1 assists and 1.6 rebounds with a career-low 13.6 minutes. Graham could potentially revitalize his career with the rebuilding club; however, he will likely have to compete for minutes with Anfernee Simons, Dalano Banton, Shaedon Sharpe and Kris Murray.

Graham closed with eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal across 11 minutes during Saturday's 126-113 victory over Golden State. Graham slid back into the rotation, making his first appearance in almost a month. Given he has played only 13 games all season, it's hard to envision Graham having any sustainable value. However, should the Spurs opt to rest their primary pieces down the stretch, he might be someone to monitor given his ability to score in bunches when afforded meaningful minutes.

Graham (illness) will be available for Sunday's game against Boston. Graham is usually on the fringe of the rotation for the Spurs, so his status doesn't carry many fantasy implications. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday in Memphis.
