• Grizzlies' Mychal Mulder: Signs with Memphis

  Mulder signed a training camp contract with Memphis on Saturday. Mulder will join the Grizzlies for training camp and should compete with Jacob Gilyard for third-string guard minutes. The 29-year-old led all G League players with 129 made threes last season.

  Mulder will play for the Celtics during the 2023 Summer League season, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. While Mulder has some NBA experience, he spent the 2022-23 campaign solely in the G League with the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Mulder posted 17.3 points, 3.6 boards and 2.7 assists per contest last season and shot 40.4 percent from beyond the arc. He'll try to put his sharpshooting talents on display during Summer League and land in training camp somewhere.

  Mulder recorded 40 points (12-21 FG, 9-16 3PT, 6-8 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 42 minutes of Thursday's 132-114 win over the Ignite. Mulder erupted for a career-best 40 points Thursday, burying nine triples and finishing with a team-best 34 plus-minus in the win. Although Mulder isn't typically the Skyforce's primary scorer, he has shown the ability to score in bunches when his three-ball is falling.

  Mulder exploded for 36 points (11-17 FG, 10-15 3PT, 2-2 FT) to go along with seven assists, two rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 42 minutes of Monday's 135-133 win over the G League Lakers. Mulder was on fire from beyond the arc Monday, posting his first 30-point outing of the regular season and knocking down a staggering 10 three-pointers on 66.7 percent shooting. In 24 appearances, Mulder has averaged 17.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals across 36.2 minutes.

  Mulder tallied five points (2-11 FG, 1-9 3PT, 0-2 FT), two rebounds and four assists across 34 minutes of Friday's 131-128 loss to Iowa. Mulder struggled to get anything going Friday, shooting 18 percent from the field and 11 percent from beyond the arc. Mulder has shown to be a very streaky shooter this season, but he can put up points in a hurry when his shot is falling.
