• Timberwolves' Donte DiVincenzo: Comes close to double-double

  DiVincenzo accumulated 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 119-115 loss to New Orleans. DiVincenzo finished just three rebounds away from recording what would've been his first double-double since Jan. 11, but even if he's not filling the stat sheet, he's doing an excellent job of scoring the rock. This was DiVincenzo's 11th consecutive game in double digits, a span in which he's averaging 14.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

With Mike Conley (rest) back in action, DiVincenzo operated off the bench, but he has scored in double digits in every game since the beginning of March despite starting just two times over that stretch. DiVincenzo is averaging 15.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game over nine March appearances.

DiVincenzo drew a spot start Sunday while Mike Conley received an opportunity for a day off, but it's back to the bench for DiVincenzo in the second half of a back-to-back. He's averaging 14.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 blocks over his last four appearances as a reserve.

Mike Conley will get the start following a one-game absence. In 36 games as a reserve for the Timberwolves, the sharpshooter is averaging 10.5 points. 3.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 39.7 percent from the floor and 38.3 percent from beyond the arc.
