  The Knicks waived Roby on Saturday. Roby inked an Exhibit 10 contract earlier in the day, and even after waiving him, the Knicks will have ownership over his G League rights. Unless another team signs Roby to a contract before opening night, he'll likely report to Knicks' affiliate in Westchester.

  The Knicks signed Roby to an Exhibit 10 contract Saturday. Roby had been under contract with the Knicks heading into training camp, but he was cut loose Wednesday. Though he's now back with the Knicks on an Exhibit 10 deal, he'll likely be cut before opening night to allow New York to retain his G League rights.

  Roby was waived by the Knicks on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Roby was sidelined to close out last season due to an ankle injury, but he returned to action during Summer League play. He averaged 8.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game over two preseason appearances but wasn't able to secure a spot on the Knicks' final roster. He's played in at least 42 NBA games in three consecutive seasons, so it's possible he finds work elsewhere ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

  Roby is listed as out for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Cavaliers due to a right ankle sprain. Roby continues to deal with an ankle injury. However, since he was signed after March 1, he isn't eligible to play in the postseason.
