Allen closed Friday's 136-125 loss to the Bulls with 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 30 minutes. The double-double was his fourth of the season and first since Nov. 12. Ongoing finger issues have cost Allen nine of the Cavs' last 13 contests, but Friday marked the first time he'd played at least 30 minutes in a game since Nov. 5, an encouraging sign. In three games since getting back on the court, the veteran center is averaging 12.3 points, 7.0 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks while shooting 61.5 percent from the floor.

Allen closed Wednesday's 127-111 loss to Chicago with 14 points (7-9 FG), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 28 minutes. After a lackluster return to action against Charlotte on Sunday, Allen responded with a well-rounded effort Wednesday. Allen is still working his way back from a finger injury that held him out for nine games, but he should hold down Cleveland's center position for the foreseeable future, especially with Evan Mobley (calf) out for a couple of weeks. Allen has played 30 minutes only twice this season and not since Nov. 5.

Allen (finger) recorded nine points (3-8 FG, 3-5 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes Sunday in the Cavaliers' 119-111 overtime loss to the Hornets. Though Allen was back in action following a six-game absence due to a right middle finger strain, the Cavaliers appeared to deliberately keep his minutes in check Sunday as he works to regain conditioning. For the season, Allen is shooting a career-low 56.3 percent from the field and is averaging 14.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks in 25.9 minutes per game, but he could see a boost in his production once he's fully ramped back up. Evan Mobley (calf) is expected to miss multiple weeks, which could clear the way for Allen to take on more playing time and usage in the frontcourt.

Allen (finger) is available for Sunday's game against the Hornets, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Allen has been sidelined for nine of the Cavs' last 10 games due to a right finger sprain, but he has been cleared to play Sunday. He'll reclaim his starting spot at center, and with Evan Mobley (calf) sidelined for at least two weeks, Dean Wade could join Allen in the starting lineup in the short term.

Allen (finger) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Hornets. Allen has missed nine of the Cavaliers' last 10 games due to a strained right finger, but he has progressed enough in his recovery to earn the probable tag for Sunday's game. His return would be timely, given that Evan Mobley will be sidelined for 2-to-4 weeks due to a Grade 1 calf strain. Allen has appeared in 15 regular-season games and is averaging 14.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.9 blocks over 26.1 minutes per game.
