Merrill (hand) is available for Monday's game against the Hornets, Spencer Davies of SI.com reports. Merrill will be making his first appearance since Nov. 17, after sitting out for over a month with a hand sprain. It's fair to expect some kind of minutes restriction for the sharpshooter in his return, considering the lengthy absence. Merrill has averaged 13.9 points, 2.3 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 3.7 three-pointers per contest in 12 games this season, shooting 44.4 percent from downtown.

Merrill (hand) is probable for Monday's game against the Hornets. This is a big development for the Cavaliers, as Merrill has been sidelined since Nov. 17. In Merrill's absence, Jaylon Tyson has emerged as a reliable contributor, but it's likely that the team utilizes both players going forward.

Merrill is listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Bulls due to a right hand sprain. The Cavaliers haven't offered any details about a timeline for a return for Merrill, who hasn't been available since the Nov. 17 win over the Bucks. Until that happens, the sharpshooter can be considered week-to-week. Merrill's absence has played a big part in the emergence of Jaylon Tyson, who has averaged 15.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 three-pointers in 30.6 minutes per contest over his last 11 games.

Merrill (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Hornets. Merrill will miss his 12th consecutive contest due to a sprained right hand. The Cavaliers haven't indicated how close Merrill is to playing again, but with two full days off coming after Sunday's contest, the shooting guard may have a chance at returning to action Wednesday in Chicago.
