  Ferguson signed a G League contract with the Rio Grande Vipers on Tuesday, NBA writer Marc Stein reports. Ferguson was waived by the Knicks in March and ended up heading to Greece to continue his career. However, with COVID-19 decimating rosters around the league, he has a shot at returning to the NBA. The 2017 first-round pick by the Thunder averaged 4.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per game over 204 appearances (124 starts) across the past four seasons.

  Ferguson agreed to a contract Monday with Greek club Lavrio B.C., Christos Tsaltas of SNDA.gr reports. After being waived by the Knicks in March, Ferguson wasn't able to find an opportunity with an NBA team for this season. He'll now head overseas in hopes of reviving his career and potentially making a return to the NBA down the road.   Ferguson was waived by the Knicks on Sunday. The Knicks acquired Ferguson from Philadelphia at the deadline but never intended to keep the athletic wing around long-term. Assuming he clears waivers, Ferguson will become an unrestricted free agent.
