  Tyson closed Sunday's 119-111 overtime loss to the Hornets with 16 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 35 minutes off the bench. The second-year forward moved back to the second unit for the first time since Nov. 28, but Tyson still saw a starter's workload and delivered his third double-double of the season, all three of which have come in December. Through six games this month, the 20th overall pick in the 2024 Draft is averaging 17.5 points, 9.0 boards, 2.5 assists and 1.8 threes, and Tyson's role isn't going to shrink as long as Evan Mobley (calf) remains sidelined.

  Tyson will come off the bench Sunday against the Hornets, Serena Winters of FanDuel Sports Network Ohio reports. Dean Wade is replacing Tyson in the first unit for Sunday's game, which lessens Tyson's appeal as a target in daily fantasy leagues. As a member of the second unit this season, Tyson owns averages of 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 triples and 1.4 steals per game in 23.7 minutes per contest.

  Tyson recorded 11 points (5-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 11 rebounds and three assists over 34 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 loss to the Warriors. Tyson got the starting nod for a fifth consecutive contest with several of Cleveland's key contributors remaining on the shelf. While the second-year swingman struggled from beyond the arc, he still scored in double figures for a fifth straight game. Additionally, he grabbed 11 boards, securing his second double-double on the campaign, both of which have come in his last four outings. He has also been efficient from the field of late, shooting 56.7 percent from the floor over his last five games.

  Tyson amassed 24 points (11-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 33 minutes during Friday's 130-117 victory over the Spurs. Tyson continues to play out of his skin, scoring at least 24 points for the second time in the past three games. As long as the Cavaliers are dealing with at least one injury, it appears as though Tyson will be the beneficiary, much like Ty Jerome last season. In seven games over the past two weeks, Tyson has been a top-60 player, averaging 16.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers. He is worth rostering in all formats, at least until the roster is healthy.

  Tyson tallied 27 points (10-13 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes during the Cavaliers' 135-119 win over the Pacers on Monday. Tyson was the leading rebounder during Monday's game and finished as the Cavaliers' second-leading scorer, as he served as the perfect complement to Donovan Mitchell (43 points). Tyson's performance also marked his first double-double of his young career, and he could remain in Cleveland's starting lineup Wednesday against the Trail Blazers if one or both of Jarrett Allen (finger) and Darius Garland (rest) are not cleared to play. As a starter, Tyson is averaging 14.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.8 threes, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks over 27.9 minutes per game.
