Alvarado (elbow) returned to Thursday's game and finished with 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, two steals and two turnovers across 22 minutes in a 125-116 loss to the Timberwolves. Alvarado suffered a stinger to his left elbow late in the fourth quarter that caused him to retreat to the locker room, but he checked back into the game a short while later and was on the floor for the final two minutes of regulation, so it seems like he's fine. Alvarado has scored in double figures and hit multiple triples in three straight, and he'll look to make it four in a row Saturday in Brooklyn.

Alvarado went to the locker room during Thursday's game versus the Timberwolves, Rod Walker of The Times-Picayune reports. Alvarado got tangled up with Julius Randle fighting for a loose ball and seemed to tweak something in his left elbow. He appeared to be in a great deal of pain and ran straight back to the locker room, so he should be considered doubtful to return with just seven minutes left in regulation.

Alvarado posted 16 points (7-16 FG, 2-9 3Pt), eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 32 minutes during Monday's 143-130 victory over the Bulls. Alvarado turned in an impressive all-around performance Monday as the Pelicans finally snapped a nine-game losing streak. Alvarado has taken advantage of the opportunity with Jordan Poole (quadriceps), Herbert Jones (calf) and Jordan Hawkins (personal) all missing time, but once New Orleans gets healthier, Alvarado is likely to take a backseat.
