Kispert's 27 points Tuesday marked a season high for the third-year forward, and he extended his streak of double-digit scoring to eight games. Over his last 10 games, Kispert has averaged 16.6 points on 49.6 percent shooting (including 39.4 percent from three on 7.1 attempts per game), 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals over 35.1 minutes per game.

The 12 boards were a career high for Kispert as he pulled down his first career double-double. The third-year forward was making his ninth straight start, and he's averaged 15.9 points, 3.4 boards, 3.2 threes, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals over that stretch while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor and 46.8 percent from beyond the arc. The 15th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft is having a bit of a breakout for a Wizards team headed back to the lottery, but it's not clear where Kispert fits in the team's long-term plans with Kyle Kuzma (shoulder) and Deni Avdija (illness) also on the roster.

Kispert is pouring in 17.8 points through his last four contests, fueled by burying 4.0 threes per game at a 53.3 percent clip. Kispert has been a bonafide fantasy asset when receiving a starter's workload this season, averaging 20.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists across 10 contests in which he's logged at least 30 minutes of action.

Kispert will start Saturday's game against the Bulls. The Wizards initially pulled Kispert out of the lineup with Tyus Jones (back) sitting, putting Jordan Poole and Richaun Holmes in the starting five. However, Deni Avdija (knee) was a late scratch, so Kispert is right back in the lineup.
