Bamba agreed to a one-year deal with the Clippers on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Bamba will join the Clippers and provide extra depth behind Ivica Zubac. The 26-year-old played for the 76ers last season, during which he averaged 4.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks across a career-low 13.0 minutes in 57 regular-season games. However, Bamba did shoot a career-high 39.1 percent from deep in a limited number of attempts at 1.1 per game.

Bamba won't start Wednesday's Play-In Game against the Heat. With Joel Embiid (knee) sidelined, Bamba drew a spot start during the regular-season finale and posted four points, six rebounds and two blocks in 18 minutes during a 107-86 win over Brooklyn. Across 40 appearances off the bench this season, Bamba has averaged 3.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 10.3 minutes per game.

Bamba (illness) scored three points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and added seven rebounds, two blocks and one assist in 15 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 133-126 double-overtime victory over the Spurs. Bamba was back in action for Philadelphia after missing the previous three games with an illness. His return coincided with Joel Embiid being held out of Sunday's contest, after Embiid had played in each of the previous three games following a 29-game absence while he recovered from meniscus surgery. With Embiid expected back for the 76ers' next game Tuesday versus the Pistons and Paul Reed likely to serve as his top backup, Bamba could soon find himself outside of the team's rotation.
