Alexander-Walker posted 23 points (7-18 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 7-9 FT), four assists and two rebounds over 33 minutes during the Hawks' 126-98 loss to the Spurs on Friday. Alexander-Walker returned to the starting lineup Friday after coming off the bench Thursday against the Hornets. The Hawks struggled as a whole on both ends of the floor, but despite his inefficiencies from three-point range, Alexander-Walker still managed to lead Atlanta in scoring and finished as the game's second-leading scorer behind Victor Wembanyama (26 points). Since Dec. 1, Alexander-Walker has averaged 22.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 3.5 threes and 0.9 steals over 32.9 minutes per game.

With Trae Young (injury management) not playing in the second leg of the Hawks' back-to-back set, Alexander-Walker will be reinserted into Atlanta's starting lineup for Friday's home tilt.

Alexander-Walker racked up 28 points (11-18 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and two assists over 34 minutes during Thursday's 133-126 loss to Charlotte. Alexander-Walker moved back to a bench role following the return of Trae Young from a knee injury, but his production didn't take any sort of hit. Thursday marked the fifth time in seven December appearances that Alexander-Walker has scored 20 or more points, and he should continue to see chances to fire at the offensive end, even with Young now healthy.

Alexander-Walker is not starting in Thursday's game against Charlotte, per Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network. The 2019 first-rounder had started each of his appearances since the Oct. 31 win over Indiana, but the return of Trae Young (knee) is stopping that streak Thursday. Over three games off the bench this year, Alexander-Walker has averaged 15.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks in 30.1 minutes per tilt.
