Marshall picked up the scoring slack for his team as he paced Dallas with 18 points. Two of his three misses were on tries from beyond the arc. Marshall's driving abilities have translated to 3.2 made free throws per game this year, which leads his team. Even with Anthony Davis in the lineup, Marshall still played with the first unit and has now scored 16 or more points in four of his last five games. However, he'll likely see a dip in playing time when P.J. Washington (ankle) returns.

Although Cooper Flagg's 35 points paced the Mavericks, Marshall took a spot in the starting lineup and finished with a solid total. Marshall took P.J. Washington's (ankle) place after he tweaked his ankle during warmups. Washington's injury outlook is unclear, but Marsalll is likely to start again if Washington is sidelined for Monday's game against the Nuggets.
