  The 76ers recalled Bona from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Tuesday, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports. Bona joined the Blue Coats for Tuesday's 120-110 win over the Capital City Go-Go, during which he posted 12 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 32 minutes. The 22-year-old big man has been left out of the rotation in each of the parent club's last three games and is not guaranteed to see the floor when both Joel Embiid (knee) and Andre Drummond are healthy.

  Bona finished with four points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one block over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 121-102 win over the Wizards. Bona offered very little yet again, basically summing up his season to this point. While there had been some hope he would step into a sizable role following a knee injury to Andre Drummond, those hopes were dashed when Drummond returned to the lineup almost immediately. Even with Joel Embiid (knee) missing time, Bona should be treated as a blocks specialist and nothing more.

Bona started the second half of Friday's game with Andre Drummond exiting with a knee injury, and he fell just one block shy of matching his career high. Drummond may be looking at an extended absence, and it's unclear when Joel Embiid (knee) will be able to return, so Bona is worth a speculative add in deep leagues for his shot-blocking upside.

Still, the probable tag suggests he has a good chance of suiting up for Philly for the first time since Nov. 14. Bona will compete for minutes at the center position once he's available. Bona is rehabbing from a sprained right ankle, which has caused him to miss the 76ers' last three games. He's set to miss at least two more contests, which could mean he returns Friday against the Nets. Andre Drummond, Dominick Barlow and Trendon Watford will continue to see the majority of minutes at the center position due to the absence of Bona and Joel Embiid (knee).
