Coulibaly had already been ruled out Thursday due to a right hip contusion but will now miss an extended period due to a hamstring injury. Considering the Wizards are already mathematically eliminated from playoff contention and Coulibaly's return timetable, it seems unlikely he will suit up again this season. In his absence, Bub Carrington, Justin Champagnie, Marcus Smart and Corey Kispert are candidates to receive increased playing time.

Coulibaly has scored in double digits in his last four games and should remain one of the Wizards' go-to options on offense as long as he stays healthy. Coulibaly's shooting efficiency has been mostly inconsistent this season, but he's now hit double-digit scoring figures in 10 of his last 12 outings. The second-year forward has averaged 14.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 threes during that stretch. Coulibaly's workload and defensive contributions have also remained steady, with averages of 1.4 steals, 0.8 blocks and 33.1 minutes.
